Woman, 23, says men are 'intimidated' by youthful mum who looks like her twin
A woman who looks identical to her mum has revealed how they're often mistaken for twins despite 33-year age gap – but claims the resemblance is having an affect on her love life.
Mum-of-three, Catherine Galasso-Vigorito, has revealed the uncanny similarities between her and her daughter, Gabriella, with the pair often mistaken for being twins in their TikTok videos which have gone viral.
Since birth, they've bonded over matching outfits, similar makeup looks and even entering the same beauty competitions together.
But, their "inseparable" connection has caused issues within their own family, with Gabriella's siblings, Lauren, 24 and Sophia, 18, not very accepting of their "copycat" way of living.
It's even created problems for the 23-year-old's love life, with many suitors "intimidated" by their closeness.

"My mum is very protective over me, so it's caused some problems [in relationships] because she wants me to always be hanging out with her – no one else," Gabriella, a cosmetologist and social media content creator, said.

“It’s very unconventional, but this is how it is with us. Boys have no idea what they are in for. Luckily, my ex-boyfriend was very accepting of our similarities and close relationship.
"Once, he popped over to see me and had to do a double take when mum walked in wearing the exact same outfit as me, which was really funny. My siblings don’t like it and they won't join in at all – we call them the 'simple sisters.'

The pair often go viral on TikTok, (@gabriella_vigorito), with their twin-like look – and one video racked up over 17 million views. In the clip, Gabriella can be seen dancing and squatting down, before transforming into Catherine, showing their similarities.
Gabriella, from California, US, said: “When the mama shows up the numbers go up. We are excited when our videos do so well. And brands often ask my mum and I to model for them.”

While she's eager for her daughter to win the crown, she's hoping pageantry will teach her how to be persistent in life and to never give up her dreams and goals.
Gabriella added: “I hope to follow in her legacy. I have been competing since I was 19 and I’ve placed as a top five finalist, but I’m not giving up on my dream to follow in mama’s footsteps and bag the same title she landed.
“I was thrilled when mum became my coach and used her experience to help me prepare. She was such a great support and gave me lots of tips. I love being mum's twin, it makes me feel really great. She is so beautiful and I look up to her – she's my biggest inspiration."

The published author added: “I find it very complimentary, being confused as her sister. We are both curly hair girls and when we do photo shoots together, Gabriella always does my hair and makeup for me.
“I’ve always matched our outfits with the girls since they were born and it's helped build our bond. It brings us closer together and I would recommend it for any mother and daughter. She's my twin and my best friend."
