Inside Lionel Richie's sex life as he claims it's the key to his youthful looks
Lionel Richie has been accused of using plastic surgery to keep his face young, but his secret to a youthful face keeps him up All Night Long.
The 74-year-old singer is playing Madison Square Garden in New York City this weekend, and there's no doubt comments will be made about how he looks simply ageless. Lionel simply chalks it up to three s-words that keep him looking that way: sleep, sweat, and sex.
"I know it's real boring," he admitted. The singer also added that he drinks water and doesn't eat "too much" red meat. According to Lionel, sex is "good for your heart" as well as keeping a youthful face and figure.

He told MailOnline, "[Plastic surgery] locks you in for that year [while you recover] - and after that, you can't go naturally, you're staying right there...you try and go back to reset, and you can't." The singer also claims to be worried about what would happen to him in the afterlife, saying if he got plastic surgery, "God might not recognize me, so I want to make sure he knows me."
Lionel has never been lacking in romantic relationships, as he's been married twice and has three kids. He first got married in 1975 to his college sweetheart, Brenda Harvey.

The two adopted Nicole Richie, born Nicole Camille Escovedo, who was born to one of Lionel's band members. Her parents couldn't take care of her, so Brenda and Lionel became her legal guardians when she was two years old. Seven years later, the adoption was finalized.

This was due to her finding Lionel at Diane Alexander's house. The marriage couldn't last and the two divorced in 1993.
Two years later, Lionel married the woman who's house he was found in all those years ago, Diane Alexander. Together they have two children, Miles born in 1994, and Sophia born in 1998. His second marriage broke up in 2004.
Currently, he's dating 33-year-old Swiss-Caribbean model, Lisa Parigi, and has been for over a decade. The two met at a dinner party when Lisa was 23 and Lionel was 40 years her senior. But despite the age gap, the two seem to be going strong. Lisa accompanied her boyfriend to King Charles' coronation last May, where the singer performed along with boyband Take That and Katy Perry. Lionel is smitten with his younger love, having said she's "extremely beautiful, but most importantly she's smart and helps me deal with my crazy world."
