Caitlyn Jenner's son announces birth of his first child as he shares unique name

Brody Jenner and Tia Blanco have welcomed their first child together.

Brody, the son of Caitlyn Jenner, shared the happy news on Instagram as he revealed his fiancée gave birth to a baby girl. The TV personality said both Tia and their baby are in "perfect health" as he shared his daughter's unique name.

Posting a video of the home birth, he wrote: "We welcomed our baby girl, Honey Raye Jenner, to the world on July 29th Momma and baby are in perfect health. We are so incredibly in love and have been cherishing this precious time together as a family. We want to thank everyone for all the love and support."

Lina Thompson, Brody's mother, rushed to congratulate the couple. She commented: "Oh my God, I'm crying all over again! What a spectacularly beautiful moment!

"Thank you so much for allowing me the incredible privilege of being there, and watching my little angel being born! Tia, you are a champion of life! And, as I told you, you stayed sweet and kind throughout your pain! Brody, you could not have been more loving and attentive than you were for all those long hours of labor! I love all three of you beyond measure!"

The Hills star Heidi Montag commented: "You did an amazing job mama! Congratulations on your sweet angel." Pamela Anderson's son Brandon Thomas Lee added: "Woah! Congrats brother! All the best to you and your family."

Brody later shared a series of snaps of his newborn daughter as he wrote: "I love my girls," adding two red heart emojis. In the first picture, he was seen holding Honey while gently kissing her forehead.

Another picture showed both Brody and Tia smiling down at their new bundle of joy. The final picture in the post saw Brody asleep cuddled up to his daughter while his fiancée held his hand.

Brody later took to his Instagram Story to thank fans for their well wishes. Speaking to the camera he said: "Just wanna say thank you guys so much for all the love and support over the past nine months.

"The past couple weeks I've just been soaking it up, appreciating this time while little Honey is still just an infant, so we've been off social media, but we're back."

Brody, who has appeared on shows such as The Hills and Keeping Up With The Kardashians, is the son of Caitlyn Jenner and Linda Thompson. Taking to his YouTube channel, he admitted that he hadn't always expected to become a father and didn't have the best relationship with Caitlyn growing up.
