A spooked ghosthunter has vowed to never return to a notorious tunnel after he heard a terrifying voice utter two chilling words.

Andrew Pollard, known as the Yorkshire Ghost Guy, recently made a return visit to Cadeby Tunnel in Doncaster on his most recent investigation of the paranormal. In a previous investigation his equipment captured a foul-mouthed spectre telling him to “f*** off” before claiming it was trapped.

However his recent visit seemed to turn more sinister when he checked his audio when he got home and heard a voice giving him a distinct warning to leave - and not return. The tape is heard saying: “It’s him…get him out...get rid of him. Get out.”

Later in the creepy video, more whispered conversations can be heard. Andrew told the Mirror: “My recent visit to Cadeby will be my last, certainly alone anyway. The thing is you don’t really know what you’ve captured with regards to audio until you get home. This visit really unnerved me because whoever or whatever is there clearly isn’t happy with me being there.”

One of the tales linked to the tunnel is of a young girl who was killed and known as the Mexborough Ragger. Legend says she was selling rags inside but when she heard a train approaching she was not able to make it to safety in time. The video of Andrew’s latest encounter posted on YouTube, called Too Scared to Return, shows him alone in the tunnel with his equipment.

He is heard saying: “It’s still light but I just don’t like this place at all. For all the world I thought I heard someone coming towards me. It sounds silly, and I’m not doing it for dramatic effect, but I do not like it down here. Only been down here once before on my own, I don’t like it at all.”

Andrew was armed with a K2 meter - a device used to detect spikes in the electromagnetic field which paranormal investigators believe may indicate the presence of spirits. He said in a previous visit to the tunnel: “On previous visits (with my former group) we captured a woman’s voice asking “is my baby there”.

“It’s a place I’m a little wary of to be honest even in the daytime hours. I didn’t actually see or hear the evidence until playback which is probably a good thing."

Earlier this month a woman insisted she and her spiritual medium husband share their home with the ghosts of her dead relatives, who often sit on the sofa with the couple and .

Jane Drew, 59, claimed the spirits of her mum, Mary, and grandmother, Clara, often hang around in the couple's living room, while her husband David Drew, 68, has also seen the ghost of Jane's father standing with them.
