Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Bengals players involved in training camp brawl
The Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Bengals got into a series of fights on Wednesday during a joint practice.
According to several beat writers in attendance for the practice, a first fight happened between Packers guard Elgton Jenkins, wide receiver Romero Doubs, and Bengals linebacker Germain Pratt. Pratt was reported to be the instigator of the situation, with sources claiming that he threw multiple punches at his opponent.
After the first altercation, Jenkins and Bengals defensive lineman D.J. Reader engaged in a physical altercation, resulting in Jenkins punching Reader's helmet. Due to being involved in both fights, Jenkins was escorted out of practice by Packers offensive line coach Luke Butkus.
The Packers and Bengals are scheduled to face each other officially at the start of the NFL pre-season on Aug. 11. On television; the pre-season game will be available for free in those respective markets and on the Bengals app.
The game will also be available on NFL+ and NFL Network. They will not face each other during the NFL's regular season.

USA Today asked Bengals defensive tackle D.J Reader to respond to the situation where Jenkins took a swing at him.
"Yeah, but you know, that's how it goes when guys don't wanna practice," Reader said. "They don't want to get better. And they're frustrated and got hands put on them the first time, so they're going to take it out on somebody else, and then you don't really be accurate. You punch so light that your head don't move. It's tough
The Packers have given the keys to their 2020 first-round pick, Jordan Love, moving on from Aaron Rodgers following 18 seasons. Running back A.J. Dillon confirmed that the team supports Love, no matter what questions they may face
"I think he definitely has all the intangibles. He's earned the trust of the locker room," Dillon told SiriusXM NFL Radio. "Guys respect him. Guys wanna play for him. Guys want to help him as much as they want to help themselves. Nothing's perfect in football. Everybody knows that. I think he's got a lot of support. Everybody would run through a wall for him."
In July, Bengals QB Joe Burrow rolled to his right before planting his foot in a non-contact drill and was carted off the field. Burrow sustained a calf injury when Bengals coach Zac Taylor said the franchise signal caller would miss "several weeks" of the season.
"Joe got more days this July than he ever has in the NFL," Taylor told reporters. "And so I feel really good about the progress we made during those July practices we had with Joe, and when he's able to get back, we will be able to get in the work we need."
