Molly-Mae Hague sparked an online debate after the former Love Islander rejoiced over wearing a pair of size 14 jeans from the high street.

The recently engaged mum-of-one took to her Instagram to show off a pair of black jeans from Zara, saying she was "finally happy" at the fit. It comes after Molly-Mae admitted she has been "struggling massively" with her body image since giving birth and that she finds it hard to look at herself naked. The reality TV star posted a mirror selfie in some black denim jeans as she wrote alongside the pic: "First pair of Zara jeans I've ever been happy with. I picked up a size 14 for reference."

However, some fans weren't too impressed with the post from Molly-Mae as they hit out at high street store Zara over their sizing. One follower shared Molly-Mae's post to X - formerly known as Twitter - where they wrote: "Molly Mae wearing a size 14 in Zara shows how whack their sizing is because no way that girl is a 14."

"Everywhere now is an absolute joke it’s impossible to get clothes," added another. Whilst someone else commented: "And that's an XL. Zara 14 is an XL and there is no way she's an extra large anything!" A fourth said: "I despise buying jeans bc I always have to size up and it always leaves me feeling so deflated. I have to remind myself often that a lot of other girls have the same issue and it’s not a me problem but its so infuriating. Especially when you have body image issues."

While one fan praised: "Love the transparency from her though. I’ve recently gained weight quitting smoking and going up to a size 14 has for some reason upset me. This is so nice to see." Molly-Mae has been extremely open with her fans on her own body image worries as she recently said in her YouTube vlog: "I am struggling massively with my body at the minute. As much as I've just had a baby, I'm truly not helping myself. My diet at the minute is shocking. I'm doing next to no exercise and I don't know what's doing on.

"Because before I had Bambi, I used to like going to the gym I wasn't a fitness fanatic but I used to love doing my walks and doing my general exercise but at the minute, I'm like truly against it and I have no idea why. Especially because every day I wake up and look in the mirror and I'm not comfortable with the way I look and that's just me being honest."

She added: "I do find it hard to look at myself in the mirror naked and think, 'You look great' or 'I love my body'. I'm trying to erase it and I'm definitely accepting it but it doesn't mean I love it and it doesn't mean I'm happy with it and I know I can be a lot happier." The social media superstar has been praised for showing off her 'real body'.
