Pregnant Laura Anderson breaks silence as she addresses Gary Lucy split drama
Laura Anderson has issued a statement on Instagram addressing her split from Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy.
News of the couple's split emerged shortly after they confirmed they were expecting their first child together and this week, the pair appeared to hit out at each other in a series of cryptic Instagram posts.
In a recent interview, Gary claimed one of the reasons for the break-up was Laura wanting him to move to Scotland to raise their child however, the Love Island star has denied this in her statement.
She told her 1.5 million followers: "I had no intention to comment on the breakdown of my relationship with Gary. However, due to what has now been publicly shared by other parties, I have been left with no other choice.

"However, since the breakdown of our relationship I have remained at home in Scotland. My priority is bringing my baby up in a calm and stable environment."
She added: "I never asked or expected Gary to move to Scotland. I fully support him living in Essex to be close to his four amazing children.
"I am fully focused on having a healthy, happy pregnancy and remain excited to share this incredible journey with you all. Thank you so much for you support! Laura, Buddy & Bump."

Gary and Laura met on Celebs Go Dating (lauraanderson1x / Instagram)Earlier this week, Laura appeared to take a swipe at her ex by posting a quote to her Instagram Stories which read: "I've been choosing peace over people lately. So far no regrets."
She also edited her pregnancy announcement, removing any mention of the Hollyoaks actor's surname and turned off the comments.
Their video reveal caption has been changed to: "My heart is full. Baby Anderson due Summer '23," but was originally captioned: "Our hearts are full Baby Lucy due 'Summer 23."
On Monday, Gary appeared to retaliate by sharing a quote that read: "People that spend time looking for faults in others, should spend time correcting their own." He captioned the post: "Amen to that."
