Kelly Osbourne in sad snap showing her and eight-month-old son battling the flu
Kelly Osbourne has revealed that she and her son Sidney are both battling the flu, with the purple-haired beauty sharing an intimate snap from her bed.
The 38-year-old star, who is the daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, took to social media to reveal that she and her eight-month-old tot have been battling the same illness. Sharing a snap from her bed, Kelly revealed that she and Sidney have been struck down with the flu for an entire week.
Flu is a common infection that can easily spread to other people, with symptoms including headaches, a fever, sickness, a sore throat and an aching body. Flu is common in adults in the colder months, but very common in babies and children all year round due to their lack of immunity.
"We are almost one week into having the flu and my little man is still not well," Kelly penned in the caption of the snap she shared on her page at the start of the week. In the photo, the London-born television star was propped up in bed by some pillows while her son sat in her arms with a dummy in her mouth.
Last week Kelly shared with her followers that it was day two of the duo's illness, with her penning: "Day two and now we are both sick." Kelly welcomed her son last year, with her mum revealing his arrival on Talk TV's The Talk.

Kelly then echoed her mother's sentiments when she shared a snap online and penned: "I am not ready to share him with the world. It is no one's place but mine to share any information about my baby."
Kelly shot to fame at just 17 years of old when her family were at the centre of fly-on-the-wall reality show The Osbournes. The MTV reality show, which aired from 2002 to 2005, documented the family's day-to-day life as they navigated everything normal families do, while illustrating what it's like to be part of a family with a rock god at the helm.
