Leonardo DiCaprio has been surrounded by new romance rumours after he was spotted onboard a yacht in Ibiza with a Love Island star.

The 48-year-old actor was seen hanging out with Arabella Chi, 32, over the weekend as they sailed around Europe with friends. Despite Leo apparently preferring not to date women over the age of 25, some fans are convinced they could be together.

Relationship expert Kate Mansfield has said Leo appears to have "seen the light" after facing criticism for his dating habits. The Wolf of Wall Street star had previously been branded "creepy" by stars such as comedian Katherine Ryan.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Kate said: "Leo has had a run of bad press slating him for his penchant for younger women, some bordering on being so young that he was called 'creepy' in the media." She added how he was once rumoured to have dated a 19-year-old.

Kate said: "His latest girlfriend at the time was young enough to be his daughter. It's likely that Leo has seen the light through the realisation that his public image was at stake and it is perhaps one the rare instances where negative press may have actually had a positive impact on his choices and decision making."

However, the dating coach suggested Leo is unlikely to have "grown up". She said: "Has he truly grown up? I wouldn't bet on it, but he is making more appropriate choices for sure with his latest squeeze."

Arabella is well-known for taking part in the hit ITV show Love Island. She previously dated fellow Islander Wes Nelson.

During her recent trip with Leo, Arabella looked glamorous wearing a gold bikini. Leo was seen wearing grey shorts and a white T-shirt as the pair mingled with pals.

Before Arabella, Leo had been linked to model Gigi Hadid. The pair sparked romance rumours back in November, when they were reportedly getting "flirty" at dinner together in New York.

Gigi and Leo were reportedly engaging in a "no-strings attached situationship" and were said to be keeping things "open and fluid" in order to balance their busy work schedules. Neither of them has spoken out about the rumours.
