Jake Paul and Nate Diaz snub UFC legend Conor McGregor after boxing fight
Jake Paul and Nate Diaz gave dismissive responses to Conor McGregor after their boxing fight.
YouTube boxer Paul got back to winning ways as beat Diaz by unanimous decision when they met at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on Saturday night. Paul was fighting for the first time since his loss to Tommy Fury in February whilst Diaz was making his professional boxing debut on the night after leaving the UFC last September.
McGregor made his feelings clear about the fight last week when he tweeted: "Regardless of that nonsense match me and Nate will be completing the trilogy. I am going to go grab that BMF belt right quick for us to compete for it in the trilogy." The former two-weight champion was also more interested in ring girl Saweetie than Paul and Diaz's fight, as he wrote: "F*** this, sweetie what's up."

Paul has been pushing heavily for a fight against McGregor since ditching his internet fame for a career in the ring, but 'The Problem Child' has now changed his tune on the match-up. "I don't care about that guy," Paul said. "I want Nate in MMA, I want more professional boxers and I want Canelo."
Jake Paul calls on John Fury to make retirement bet for fight with son TommyMcGregor hasn't paid attention to any of Paul's past call-outs but he was forced to eat his words after backing Diaz to hand the YouTuber his second consecutive loss. “I fancy him [Diaz] for it, to be honest. The man’s a bit windy. The other cat’s a bit windy. He’s a donkey. The guy’s a donkey, but the donkey has a kick as well. So you just got to be worried about that," McGregor told Matchroom Boxing.
Diaz was also asked about McGregor's tweet after the fight as he said: "F*** that fool." The UFC legend was asked if he thinks Paul would beat McGregor in the ring, but he backed the Irishman by replying: "F*** no." Diaz has expressed interest in a third fight against McGregor and he also welcomed a rematch against Paul in MMA after the YouTuber laid out his $10million offer.
"Let's do it," Diaz said of a rematch with Paul in MMA. "We're going to have to co-promote with Real Fight Inc. He's big and he's tough, I wish I could have done better things but some s***, it didn't go the way I wanted it to. I should have trained better and done better things but it’s all good. He won this one but I'll fight anyone, I don't give a f***."
