The Game4Ukraine was held on Saturday evening, bringing together World Cup winners, record signings and Premier League legends to raise money for Ukraine.

The Eastern European country was invaded by Russia last year, with Saturday's game raising money to rebuild schools destroyed by Russian bombs and missiles. Mark Noble opened the scoring for Oleksandr Zinchenko's Team Yellow, before Clarence Seedorf fired in a stunning equaliser for Team Blue.

A wonderful team move saw Team Yellow retake the lead, with Jack Wilshere setting up Darijo Srna to fire past Dida, before William Gallas powered in a late equaliser from close range. Here, Mirror Football takes a look at five things you might have missed as the trophy was shared.

Cech and Lehmann reignite rivalry

For several years in the 2000s, Jens Lehmann and Petr Cech were two of the best keepers in the Premier League. They clearly have lost little of their talent given their performances at Stamford Bridge.

Both men were called upon regularly during what was a predictably open match. They pulled off a series of stunning saves, with Cech showing his agility early on, before Lehmann dived to his left late to prevent Samuel Eto'o from scoring.

Cech has been keeping up his skills by playing semi-professional ice hockey, recently signing for Oxford City Stars. That makes Lehmann's performance all the more impressive, given he retired 13 years ago.

Former England keeper sent outfield

Carly Telford was capped 27 times for England during a 14-year career for the national team. She was named in Zinchenko's Team Yellow, starting the march on the bench, before being brought on for the Arsenal star.

Telford played the rest of the first-half, but rather than takeover from Lehmann in goal, she was given the chance to play outfield. She made one attempted pass to Eto'o that showed she may have been better off taking the gloves back up.

Interesting, Telford spent seven years playing for Chelsea across two spells under Emma Hayes, who was taking charge of Team Blue.

Lescott's tug of war

Former Manchester City and Aston Villa defender Joleon Lescott was one of the retired players to feature at Stamford Bridge. There was some confusion about who he would be lining up for before the game though.

Lescott had originally been announced as playing on Team Blue, but on the day of the game, he was named in Team Yellow's squad. The defender ended up coming on for Team Blue though, featuring in parts of both halves.

Sky Sports commentator Joe Speight joked that the situation was similar to being the "last one picked" during school PE lessons.

Wilshere fumes

Jack Wilshere ran the show for Team Yellow in the first-half, which was somewhat predictable given he only retired last year. He missed the warm-up to be interviewed by Jack Whitehall, joking that he would likely be injured as a result.

The former Arsenal star was fine to start the game though and thought he had opened the scoring. The ball was chipped in, with Wilshere ghosting past the defence to nudging the ball away from Cech before hammering it in.

But the assistant referee immediately raised their flag to rule it out, with no VAR in operation. Wilshere was left visibly furious by the decision, waving his finger towards the line, before complaining to the referee.

Zinchenko and Mudryk return to action

Before the game, Arsenal had announced that Zinchenko would not be playing, but the Ukrainian could not resist. He ended up playing the first 11 minutes of the game, seeing an early shot saved by Cech.

He has missed all of Arsenal's pre-season with a hamstring complaint, with the Gunners set to face Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday. Meanwhile, Chelsea star Mykhaylo Mudryk was brought on at half-time, playing until the hour mark.

His pace proved problematic for Team Yellow's defence, though he struggled to link up with his team-mates before being substituted.
