Myleene Klass reigned supreme on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here: South Africa earlier this year as she was crowned queen of the jungle in the All Star version of the long-running ITV show.

The 45-year-old had originally starred on I’m A Celeb on the sixth season of the show back in 2006 where she missed out on being crowned winner behind Busted star Matt Willis. But for the special 2023 series, she won after enduring various bush tucker trials and nights sleeping under the open skies.

But for many viewers, the most surprising aspect of Myleene’s second turn on the show was how much she hadn’t changed in the 17 years since she starred on her original series. And furthermore, many were left astonished by her incredibly toned body.

Myleene - who famously donned simple white bikini’s to shower in the jungle waterfall - has now shared the secret to her ageless body. And it would appear one simple activity has been key to keeping herself in shape.

She told Top Sante magazine: “I did a lot of skipping before entering the jungle. It’s my thing and I really don’t think there’s any exercise that can beat it because it’s an amazing full body workout.

“The irony of going into the jungle a second time was that I wasn’t being compared to anyone else. I was being compared to myself 17 years ago, and that’s an unusual situation.”

Skipping is a cardio, aerobic exercise that is much loved by many athletes - including boxers who want to keep in peak physical shape. The exercise is known to target all areas of the body to tighten the core, tone calves, and build stamina.

While fitness experts profess that skipping can burn up to 15-20 calories per minute - making a simple fifteen-minute routine being the equivalent of 250-300 calories being burned.

Myleene previously shared her fitness tips by releasing a fitness DVD back in 2018, and catering her workouts for busy mums.

Promoting her regieme at the time, the mum-of-three said: “I have been asked to do a fitness DVD for years but have never felt it was the right time until now. After having two children, I wanted to help other mums and busy women find a way to stay fit that works for them."

She added: "It is hard work but it is maintainable, not a lifestyle overhaul, but small manageable changes to help women stay fit and see real results. This isn’t just about weight loss, I wanted to make women feel strong and confident in their every day lives.”
