Radio 1 presenter Jordan North left his co-host Vick Hope in fits of laughter after his on-air gaffe while presenting his regular slot on the radio show.

The 33-year-old I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star suffered from an awkward blunder when he read out a message wrong, much to the amusement of his colleague and close pal Vick Hope. It came after listeners were asked to call in and share what they were having for dinner during a segment.

Hilariously, Jordan told fans: "Katie says we're having Greek picky t*** for tea." But after realising his error, Jordan corrected his mistake and said: "Oh no! I'm so sorry."

The incident left Vick unable to contain her laughter as she repeated: "Picky bits." Horrified, Jordan then went on to say: "I think we're done. I'm so sorry - I'm genuinely sorry about that. I was meant to say picky bits" before he ended the embarrassing moment with: "I'm never going to work again."

On social media, Radio 1 fans shared their honest reaction to Jordan's blunder after the radio station's official account shared the blooper, with many finding it "absolutely hilarious."

One person wrote: "These 2 just crack me up all the time. Must be a nightmare for their production team trying to keep them on the straight and narrow."

Another posted: "Made my Monday whilst working from home. Absolutely hilarious, thank you." A third person penned: "Oh Jordan," with a laughing face emoji.

But Jordan's message reading mishap hasn't been the only incident to drive fans wild in recent months. Earlier this year, a Happy Valley star, who appeared on Radio 1 whilst Jordan was host, revealed some of the x-rated messages he often receives on social media.

James Norton, who plays villain Tommy Lee Royce on the BBC series, was a guest on Jordan's Radio 1 show when he also ended up reading some sexy texts sent in by listeners.

"I know we're talking DMs later. I used to get some very strange [ones]," James began when chatting on the radio show." He went on to add: "Yeah, it was quite inappropriate - I used to get a little bit weirded out. They would sort of say stuff like 'I can't - you're such a monster' and follow up with 'take me to your cellar'"

The actor hilariously read out one of the messages out loud. "I've fallen in love," James began saying before bursting into a fit of giggles.

"Literally everyone in the studio is freaking out," Jordan exclaimed. "The girls in the studio are freaking - I've gone sweaty! I've fallen in love with ya and I'd like to be your banana partner."
