Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz face-off descends into brawl with punches thrown

Jake Paul and Nate Diaz's final press conference descended into chaos in Dallas, Texas this evening as the pair's teams got into it during the face-off.

Paul and Diaz had shared heated and at times controversial verbal jabs, with the UFC legend even dropping a series of homophobic slurs at the YouTube star and his team. However, it wasn't until their teams got on stage for their face-off that things got out of hand as security guards and entourage members got physical.

There is no love lost between the two teams, particularly Paul's employee Derek from Betr Media who has consistently attempted to build his name by harassing Diaz at pre-fight media events. He was almost brought on stage for the press conference brawl but was stopped by Paul's father Greg.

However, that couldn't stop the carnage during face-offs as Paul and Diaz were surrounded by security for what will be their penultimate face-off. The vibe was considerably more aggressive than their launch event months prior, but it wasn't the fighters that got into it.

Members of the security crews for both men were packed on to the stage in order to stop any potential drama, but were actually the ones who caused the majority of problems. As Paul and Diaz jeered from a distance, their teams couldn't keep their hands to themselves and got violent, causing both men to be taken from the stage.

Paul said later: "S*** popped off, Nate's team started throwing punches at my security guards. My security guards dropped his team and it's just a little warm up for what's going to happen Saturday night."

After a relatively calm build-up, the pair have now ignited an ugly feud that will see them finally step in the ring on Saturday night. Their bout will be Diaz's professional boxing debut, while Paul is looking to bounce back from his first loss against Tommy Fury earlier this year.
