Emmerdale stalker Lloyd - played by Matt Sutton - has been in the ITV soap in no less than two other roles as well as cameos in the likes of Doctors and other big shows

Emmerdale's Lloyd actor has had three roles in the ITV soap over the years.

Matt Sutton made his debut as Amelia's stalker Lloyd earlier this year, but it's not the first time he's been in the Dales. The arrival of Lloyd has caused havoc for Amelia and also her father Dan. After finding out he had been messaging Amelia and had even come to visit her at the salon where she worked, Dan confronted him and the worst happened.

He punched him, landing Lloyd in hospital. Dan knows the severity of what's happened, and is considering a tough future ahead, especially if Lloyd doesn't make it. Lloyd's wife Julie has been regularly visiting the village, demanding Dan realises what he's done.

Matt is no stranger to the ITV soap, having played two other roles in the series so far. He first arrived in the Dales in January 2008 as PC Nicholas Palmer whilst he also played a young Shadrach Dingle in November 2017.

He has also had roles in Doctors, where he's played three different characters too as well as BBC drama Our Zoo and other cameos in the likes of Alma's Not Normal, The Dyke, Guerrilla and Hoff The Record.

Dan Spencer star Liam Fox recently teased a potential exit for him and Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell). Next week will see Amelia and Dan decide to go on the run in order to remain together as a family after their life was turned upside down by her stalker Lloyd.

Speaking to The Mirror and other press, when asked if we'd ever see their characters again, he said: "Who knows, who knows? Maybe for a bit or maybe not at all. I don't know. There's going to be some changes there without a shadow of a doubt, we'll have to wait and see won't we I guess! He doesn't initially want to do it really. He doesn't think it's a good idea at all. After talking to Amelia, he thinks on it and thinks on it again, he just thinks: 'There's no way out of this.'

"He can't stand the thought of not being with daughter and his granddaughter. He realises that he's not going to be suited to prison life at all. So the only option at that point seems to be he's going to go on the run."
