Sarah Jessica Parker recalls 'most embarrassing' Sex and the City scene
A resurfaced clip of Sarah Jessica Parker divulging her "most embarrassing" moment while filming for Sex and the City has now gone viral.
Following the success of the second series of SATC's spin-off And Just Like That, a throwback TikTok clip was uploaded of Sarah and her fellow co-stars during an old interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
When asked by an audience member what their most embarrassing moment from the set was, Carrie Bradshaw actress Sarah was immediately red-faced as she recalled her experience on an episode from the first season entitled "The Drought".
During the episode, Carrie is mortified after passing wind in front of Mr. Big, a role taken on by Chris Noth. "It was called the drought, and Carrie — she, not I — farted," Parker recalled, unable to contain her laughter.
She added: "And spent the rest of the episode trying to pretend it never happened. That's the worst thing they've ever asked me to do."
Major And Just Like That teaser shows Carrie snogging her ex after Big's deathClearly wanting to move on from memory, Carrie turned the focus on her co-star Kim Cattrall, who revealed her most humiliating incident from set happened during the episode "Bozo the Bush", where her character unsuccessfully attempts to dye her pubic hair.
Kim said: "The makeup artist Kyra Panchenko showed me the little wiglets that were going to be double-faced taped on me. I was hysterical," she added while the audience burst out into a fit of giggles.
Meanwhile, it took Kirsten Davis some time to recall embarrassing moments, and she even asked the show's director Michael Patrick King if he could remember any on her behalf. He noted that a particular masturbation scene was embarrassing for her before Kirsten recalled an awkward shot of her that had to be taken from a distance between the legs of a stand-in man.
Cynthia also said that her "dirty talking" scenes weren't necessarily embarrassing to film but humiliating to watch back.
TikTokers found their throwback admissions hilarious, with one person commenting: "Poor Miranda. Every episode was something embarrassing."
Another added: "That fart scene is my favorite in the whole series," while a third said: "Bozo the bush is the hardest I have ever laughed at anything ever! Omg so funny!!"
Sarah has been looking back at a lot of her time filming for Sex and the City lately, and she recently opened up about why she never stripped off for scenes, insisting it wasn't "a morality thing".
During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, she explained: "I think I just never felt comfortable exposing myself that way. I never had any judgements about anybody else doing it."
