Meghan Markle jumps to correct Prince Harry after rare Archie & Lilibet comment

Meghan Markle was quick to correct her husband Prince Harry after he made a rare comment about their children.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to America in 2020 in the wake of stepping down from being senior members of the Royal Family. The couple now currently reside in Montecito, California, with them said to be thinking of relocating to Malibu.

Living with their children Archie and Lilibet, it's very rare that the general public catch a glimpse of their kids, with them only being seen a handful of times over the past few years. But now fans have had a rare insight into the children's lives after a new video was shared today.

Putting on a united front, the couple beamed in a video of them calling winners of the Responsible Tech Youth Power Fund, of which their Archewell Foundation was a founding member. Sitting beside each other and looking happier than ever, the couple were at the centre of the almost three-minute video as they congratulated those awarded.

Midway through the video, after the Duke and Duchess thanked various award holders, the couple spoke about their young children, albeit only briefly. "Thank you for doing everything that you do," Harry said into the phone to one of the recipients, with Meghan nodding beside him. The Duke then added: "Our kids especially, are incredibly grateful," before his wife interrupted him by saying: "They don't know it yet," while pointing with her pointer finger.

Harry then repeated what his wife said before she added: "But they will."

This comes as the Duke prepares to depart Montecito briefly for a trip around the world. Harry is reported to be gearing up to visit Singapore, Tokyo and then Europe in the coming weeks. But although a solo trip, there are reports that Meghan will join him for the Invictus Games in Germany in September.

The couple seem to be showing the world that they are stronger than ever after reports swirled that alleged the couple were facing problems following on from their brutal Spotify axe and Emmys snub. Meghan was recently said to have set up shop in a hotel suite to set her plans in motion for becoming a "Hollywood power player", while Harry planned a trip to Africa for a Netflix project.

And with reports swirling that the couple could be splitting up, a friend of Harry and Meghan was quick to hit back at the rumours. "It's not true, it's literally made up," they told Page Six. The Mirror US previously approached Harry and Meghan's representatives for comment regarding this but did not receive a response.
