Jake Paul fears rival KSI could throw elbow in fight against Tommy Fury
Jake Paul has joked that KSI might have to throw an elbow at Tommy Fury after his last win was overturned to a 'no decision' for an illegal shot.
The YouTube boxing rivals are intrinsically linked despite being unable to come to terms for a fight over their five years of rivalry, but they have both inked deals to face Fury. And with Paul due to face Nate Diaz in his ring return this weekend days after KSI vs Fury was announced, his prediction was a keen point of interest in social media circles.
Paul and Fury fought to an eight-round split decision in Saudi Arabia this February, with the Brit winning after powering through being knocked down in the final stanza. And after the American opted to pursue his MMA fighter rival, Fury has opted to face his biggest nemesis KSI instead on October 14 in Manchester.
"I think Tommy knocks him out in like less than five rounds," Paul told Mirror Fighting when asked for his take on the fight. "I mean [KSI] is doing these gimmick WWE fights up until now. Tommy is his first real test, but who knows, he might throw an elbow on Tommy, too."
Fury has vowed to get it done even earlier, saying in a press release that the fight won't go further than four rounds. However, he hasn't stopped an opponent since 2021, and could struggle with the awkwardness of KSI's more unorthodox style and his ferocious punching power.

“I’ve already beaten Jake Paul and so all that is left for me to do is send this man to sleep,” Fury responded after being told that he would be defeated by KSI amid the fight's official announcement on Sunday. “I’ll do that inside four rounds. This is easy money.”
