Harry and Meghan 'losing out on Hollywood favours to William and Kate'

Despite Meghan Markle's prior ties to Hollywood, her and Harry's grip on the industry is reportedly slipping. After being snubbed in the Emmy nominations, the pair are reportedly seeing their empire fall around them. An insider believes Prince William and Kate may be the reason.

A source told Heat Magazine: "Nobody wants to risk their standing in the UK by not being seen as team William and Kate."

Celebrities and industry key players are recognising Meghan and Harry's depleting popularity and are scared of being seen alongside them. In fact, the source said they are actively pitching Will and Kate for new projects.

Their efforts are reportedly being backed by King Charles himself. It is only part of the strategy of maintaining American ties and influence - in September, Will and Kate will appear in New York at the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit, further solidifying their influence.

Meghan is reportedly unhappy about this. The source said: "Meghan is sick and tired of this 'Saint Kate' act. She and Harry are aware the Waleses are planning more trips to the States — including Hollywood — and the red carpet will well and truly be rolled out for their arrival."

It isn't just in Hollywood that the divide between the royal couples is becoming clear. Politically, even, the future King and Queen are winning the race. First Lady Jill Biden was recently photographed meeting with Kate when she was in the UK. In comparison, Harry and Meghan reportedly received a firm "no" when their teams made a request to use Air Force One on their trip back home for the Queen's funeral.

A source told the MailOnline that the White House denied the request in case it caused a "commotion" and harmed the President's relations with the palace.

The next step for Meghan and Harry is unclear. In addition to being overlooked for an Emmy nomination, they also recently lost their Spotify partnership. Meghan's Archetypes podcast. has been terminated early and there are currently no other known projects really in the works.
