Emmerdale Lloyd's wife Julie's downfall 'sealed' as she 'makes mistake'

Emmerdale fans were quick to point out Lloyd's wife Julie's downfall on Tuesday's episode as she threatened and intimidated Amelia Spencer in the village. Fans will recall that Amelia's dad, Dan Spencer, recently landed himself in serious trouble with the law after he punched his daughter's online stalker, Lloyd, which has resulted in the latter being left in a coma in hospital with a serious head injury.

As Lloyd remains in hospital, his wife, Julie, who refuses to believe her husband did anything wrong and was stalking Amelia, has been terrorising the Spencer family. On Tuesday, Julie showed up at the Hide Bistro, where she verbally attacked Amelia before issuing a threat in front of Victoria Sugden. She said: "I'm going to bring you down and I don't care what it takes!" to which Victoria threatened to call the police as Julie stormed off.

Soap watchers were quick to point out Julie's error of threatening Amelia in front of a witness, Victoria, as they could report her to the police to help in the case against Dan, who has been arrested and charged over Lloyd's injuries.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Verbal threat in front of a witness! Call the police! # Emmerdale " A different account put: "That’s a threat, if I was Amelia I’d go to the police… #emmerdale." Another fan wrote: "If anything, Julie should be in court for perverting the course of justice! #Emmerdale" with a different account adding: "So Amelia is being hounded by Lloyds wife in #emmerdale, where's the CCTV ???"

It comes as Emmerdale's Dan star, Liam Fox, has teased a potential exit for his character and Amelia (Daisy Campbell). Next week will see Amelia and Dan decide to go on the run in order to remain together as a family after their life was turned upside down by her stalker Lloyd.

In upcoming scenes, Dan, who has been arrested and charged over the incident, heads to court and pleads guilty to the charges against him. Worrying about her father's future and the serious prison sentence he could face if Lloyd dies, Amelia suggests they go on the run to Ireland in order to stay as a family. Seeing his daughter's fear and being overwhelmingly scared of prison, Dan comes round to the idea of running away and he asks Cain Dingle for help fleeing the country.

Later, Cain presents Dan and Amelia, who has been warned not to tell anyone - not even boyfriend Noah Dingle, with ferry tickets, an old car and a burner phone for their escape to Ireland. As everything becomes very real for the father and daughter, they share a sad smile about leaving Emmerdale and set off as a three. But have they made the right decision and is this the last viewers have seen of them?

Talking about the upcoming storyline with press, including The Mirror , Dan star Liam, 53, said of whether this is the last fans see of Dan and Amelia: "Who knows, who knows? Maybe for a bit or maybe not at all. I don't know. There's going to be some changes there without a shadow of a doubt, we'll have to wait and see won't we I guess!"
