Peter Andre admits to 'struggling beyond belief' over Princess' new boyfriend
Peter Andre has admitted he is entering his most anxious stage of fatherhood – as his teenage daughter is falling in love.
The 50-year-old pop star is a father-of-four – sharing eldest son, Junior, 18, and 16-year-old daughter Princess with his ex-wife Katie Price, 45. And he also has a second son named Theo, who is six, and a nine-year-old daughter named Amelia who he shares with 33-year-old wife Emily.
Now that Princess is a teenager, she is entering the dating world and has been seeing a young lad and went public with their love back in June. Her blossoming romance is causing headaches for Peter, however, who is finding himself feeling like a protective father.
He told Woman magazine: “I’m not happy about this at all. I’m struggling beyond belief, but that’s life. We’ve had many chats. I have very strict rules in my house.

Peter did admit, however, that his wife Emily has helped him loosen up when it comes to his eldest daughter having a boyfriend. He admits: “Emily really made me realise that I can’t treat her differently to how I treated Junior at that age.
“That’s where my old school mentality had to change. It took a while, but I’ve got there.”
Peter is dad to Princess, Junior and two other children (Instagram)While Princess has kept her relationship reasonably low-key, she has featured her boyfriend in her social media posts. In June, she confirmed her romance by sharing a video of herself allowing her boyfriend to apply makeup on her.
Proud mum Katie was spotted in the background of the clips while Princess giggled her way through the makeup tutorial and her boyfriend applied a range of products. The teen confirmed she was in a relationship by titling the vide: “Boyfriend does makeup” and adding the hashtags #makeup #boyfriend.
Peter had previously shared his concern about his daughter dating around that time, saying to a member of the public: “The first boyfriend thing, you're not missing out on anything. My daughter's going through that, I'm stressing like you would not believe. So that side of it, it's just not fun.“
The Mysterious Girl singer had also previously claimed he wanted to ban Princess from dating altogether – but Emily reminded him that would be unfair. He said last year: “One of the things [Emily] taught me was very early on, when Princess and Junior were younger.
“I’d say Junior could do this and that, and Princess had to be a nun and could never have a boyfriend. Emily taught me that whatever rule I gave to Junior, I had to treat all the other children the same. She has made me look at things differently and change my old-school mentality.“
