HBO's Euphoria pays heartfelt tribute to Angus Cloud following his death at 25

HBO's Euphoria has paid tribute to actor Angus Cloud after the tragic news of his death at age 25. He started his career on the HBO show Euphoria, becoming a fan favourite. Euphoria tweeted: "We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time."

Angus's official cause of death is not yet known. His family told TMZ that he had been struggling with his mental health since the death of his father a couple of weeks ago.

The statement to TMZ said: "Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence."

His family wants to remember him for his "his humour, laughter and love for everyone" and asked for privacy at this time. For fans, he'll always be remembered as Fez on Euphoria. Some fans called for the show to be cancelled in light of the news. Currently, Season 3 isn't slated to return until at least 2025 as a result of COVID-19 delays and the current industry strikes.

One fan tweeted: "Please, Cancel the Show nothing will be the same without Fez… May his soul rest in peace." Angus was offered a role in the show in a nontraditional way. The show's casting director saw him walking in the streets of New York City and thought that he would be a perfect fit. Prior to Euphoria, he had never acted before.

Fez is a local drug dealer on the show who has a strong relationship with Rue. He has a huge heart, often taking care of others throughout the show. Another fan tweeted: "Really appreciated how authentic of an actor Angus was. Truly sad and my heart goes out to his family."
