Love Island's Siannise Fudge confirms footballer romance after devastating split
Siannise Fudge is off the market after putting her heartache behind her as she gets very close to a hunky footballer.
Runner-up of the first-ever winter series of Love Island, the beauty is dating again after her split from fellow Islander Luke Trotman. They called it a day in November 2021, leaving fans disappointed after watching them fall for each other in South Africa.
Siannise and her ex-boyfriend met when the dating show took them to Cape Town in 2020 and in the show, the pair coupled up in week three and it took them all the way to the final where they came second to Paige Turley and Finn Tapp.
When they returned home, Siannise and Luke T moved into a trendy flat together and even adopted an adorable puppy, Nala. But two years after they fell for each other, the couple called it quits. But after having plenty of time to reflect, 29-year-old Siannise has gone Instagram official with her new man.
George Rigg and the star showed off pictures of themselves enjoying a sun-soaked holiday and things seem to be moving fast. George, who has played for Exeter City, Bath City and Chippenham before transferring to Frome, is preparing for the new season, which kicks off next week.
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and TanyelHe took a break from pre-season to go abroad with Siannise and posted some loved-up snaps of their romantic trip to Cyprus. It’s not been an easy time for Siannise and last year, the ex-islander opened up about her secret battle with her mental health.
She told her 1.7 million followers she had been waiting for the right moment to speak up on the issue, explaining how she hadn't found the courage to make her struggles public until now. She wrote: "I feel I have a responsibility to share this because somehow it might help one of you and that's all I want from this. To give anyone suffering the belief that you can overcome your obstacles in life.
"This time last year I was suffering from anxiety & depression behind closed doors. This resulted in me having insomnia, extreme mood swings & losing two stone in weight. I was insecure, lost all my confidence & I lacked love within myself. I couldn’t bare to look at myself in the mirror because I didn’t recognise myself both physically & mentally. I completely lost myself and I wasn’t sure who I was as a person anymore."
She continued to say how it was affecting all aspects of her life and said she received a lot of messages because of her weight which triggered her. "I was lost, depressed and unhealthy, but somehow I developed the strength to work on myself," she added before saying she was eventually able to use negative comments to fuel her motivation to get better."
Last year, Siânnise shut down rumours that she's dating again as Laura Whitmore grilled her about her love life during an appearance on the Love Island spin-off show, Aftersun.
"We’ve got to talk about you and your love life, you made it to the final with Luke. You and Luke I know are no longer together, but is there a Disney prince in your life?" Laura asked the former Islander on the show last month.
Siânnise confessed that she was focusing on herself and taking a break from the dating scene but she clearly feels now is the right time to get back into the swing of things.
