TV host 'retracts statements' after agreeing with 'kill them all' comment at Trump rally

A television host attending Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania was forced to take to social media to retract the sentiment that he agreed with an erratic supporter's declaration to "kill them all" when talking about people from the "left, and the RINOS, the Globalist."

Right Side Broadcasting Network's (RSBN) Matthew Alvarez was working the rally at the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, fielding comments from supporters outside of the venue.

Things escalated in a sinister way when one Trump supporter expressed that he was in attendance at the rally “to guarantee Trump gets back in, and get rid of the corruption that is in the White House right now.”

“It’s a disgrace,” the man continued in his remarks to Alvarez. “Joe Biden is a disgrace to this country.” Alvarez then took it upon himself to add: “So are all the left, and the RINOS, the Globalist."

“Kill them all,” the man could be heard saying in the mic. “Kill them all.” It was then that Alvarez seemingly agreed, declaring: “I agree with you on that.”

The exchange was noticed on social media, with local outlets and reporters harping on the quickness in which Alvarez appeared to agree with the Trump supporter.

RSBN would later post a video featuring Alvarez and said he was "officially" retracting his earlier remarks, noting that he was also a guest host. "Please note that opinions espoused by contractors or interviewees do not reflect the values of the company," the network said in a X - formerly Twitter - social media post.

“The thing that is trending on Twitter right now, you know, outside we were interviewing a number of people,” Alvarez said in the remarks, Penn Live reports.

“They were talking about how great the country is, how great the president is, and I heard something else that was spoken. But, what I’m hearing that was said was that someone said, ‘Well, let’s kill them all.’ That is not something that I agree with obviously. So, if there is something that happened, where somebody was speaking out there, I didn’t hear those words spoken."

Alvarez continued with a defense that it was "very loud outside." He continued: “All that I know is, I’m here for God, for this country, for truth, for President Trump, that kind of thing. Definitely not a proponent of that kind of thing happening.”

Brian Glenn, also working for RSBN, went on the offensive and blamed "the left" for any negative attention the story was getting.

“This is what the left will do,” Glenn said. “They will take a clip of that, and they will run with it, and all of a sudden their statement is that you want to kill everybody or whatever.”

Alvarez reiterated that he did not initially hear what the man said when he was engaged in the exchange. But once again, Glenn only blamed the "corrupt media" for being able to "take a statement like that and run with it."
