A man has suddenly died after falling ill in a gym, despite the best efforts of emergeny services who scrambled to the scene.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were dispatched to the Glaslyn Byw’n lach centre in north-west Wales yesterday evening.

They added: “The centre will open according to the usual timetable from Saturday, February 25, onwards. Thank you very much for your patience.”
