Helen Skelton 'dipping into dating' having 'found her mojo' after brutal split
Helen Skelton is considering dipping her toe back into the dating waters, it has been claimed.
In April last year, months after the birth of their daughter, Helen announced that she and England and Leeds Rhinos rugby star Richie Myler, 33, had split up. The Countryfile presenter is now putting the past behind her by selling the marital home she shared with now ex and now dating could be back on the agenda.
A source has told OK! Magazine she feels the time is nearing for her to try and find love again. Helen is finally looking to a positive future, and is not only "in talks for a potential high-profile presenting gig", but is also reportedly nearly ready to start the hunt for romance.
The TV favourite, 40, proved last year she's a force to be reckoned with following emotional 12 months.

Now it appears she will "reluctantly" make moves towards the dating scene.

"After her trust was broken, she’s nowhere near ready for an all-in long-term romance," the source explained. "But she’s not closing herself off to anything anymore. She’s open to new adventures in all respects and is making it her aim to say ‘yes’ to more things that excite her."
Helen announced the split on her Instagram and, at the time, penned: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children."
Rugby star Ritchie has since gone on to have a baby with new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill, 32, daughter of Rhinos president Andrew.
Earlier this month, Helen was rumoured to have put her marital home up for sale in an attempt to move on from their relationship.
A source told The Mirror at the the time: "Helen has moved on with her life and feels it’s time to start with a clean slate. She’s put the house they shared on the market and is looking for a new place she can move to with the kids in the coming months."
And speaking of the decision to move elsewhere, our insider tells us she found the decision both "bittersweet" and "refreshing".
"She sees the move as the final nail in the coffin of their relationship, and now she’s fully prepared for a brand new start."
Since their break-up, Helen has shared insights into the world of single-parenthood with her huge online following, often whisking off her youngsters Ernie, seven, Louis, five, and baby Elsie, one, on fun-fuelled days out and trips to the beach.
Last month, the star caught the attention of fans, looking a picture of confidence in a black bikini during a wakeboarding session with son.
"She’s forever grateful to Strictly for giving her her mojo back," our source tells us. "You can tell just from her Instagram bikini pictures, she’s feeling healthy and happy for the first time in years."

Helen - who was partnered up with new-father-of-two Gorka Marquez - narrowly missed out on bagging Strictly's glitterball trophy to BBC cameraman Hamza Yassin, our source says the experience gave her "her sparkle back - and she is looking forward to the future again".
