Love Island's Zeta thinks Kay Kay and Keenan's romance is like her and Timmy's

Zeta Morrison might still not be with her Love Island counterpart, but she sees shades of their relationship in a new couple this season.

While speaking with the Daily Mirror during an Instagram Live, Zeta dished about her thoughts on the current season of Love Island USA.

"I'm actually loving it," she said, "I think everyone on there has such a personality."

The season four winner said this group of Islanders had "so much energy". She also shared that her favourite couple so far is Kay Kay Gray and Keenan Anunay. The couple have been together since the first episode, which premiered on July 18.

Zeta loved the couple "literally from day dot when she ran across to Keenan". She even hosted a watch party with some of her fellow Islanders from her season, and admitted: "We were all just screaming when Keenan and Kay Kay had their little moment."

"I hope that they make it far," she said.

She might also have a fondness for the couple for a more personal reason.

"They do sort of remind me of me and Timmy we started out," Zeta said. Zeta and Timmy Pandolfi first met on the first day of season four as original Islanders. The two coupled up together and eventually went on to win the season.

Zeta and Timmy were not coupled together the whole time, but for the majority of the season, the two were inseparable.

She remembered that she and Timmy were "really strong early" similarly to Kay Kay and Keenan. "Then we went through our challenges", she said. After winning the show, Zeta and Timmy broke up a few months later and decided they were better as friends. The British-born star hopes for a more positive experience for her current favourite couple.

"I hope that they weather all of the storms and will make it out," she said.

So far, Kay Kay and Keenan seem like they are going strong so far. They had a bit of drama, but have fared the setback. Keenan admitted that he had a bit of a crush on another Islander, Kassy, who returned the feelings. But after some awkward challenges, Keenan seems to have focused his energy solely on Kay Kay.
