Love Island stars can shop and are forced out of bed as major changes leaked

Zeta Morrison looked back on her time on Love Island USA fondly, but there were a few things she wished the show would adopt from its UK counterpart.

During an Instagram Live with the Mirror on Tuesday, Season 4 winner Zeta spoke with one of our reporters about her observations about the differences in the programs.

The British-born star said: "Just for joke's sake, I feel like the UK islanders get to lay in bed when they first wake up a lot longer than we did."

She added that her and her fellow Islanders would tell the producers that: "We just wanna lay in bed and chit chat."

Besides the extra few minutes in bed, Zeta noted other differences she saw between the two Love Island iterations.

"I know the UK islanders get clothes brought in for them," she said, "I think once a week or once every two weeks and we just had to bring everything, pack for six weeks and fend for ourselves."

Zeta revealed that the Islanders did have access to Amazon while they were in the villa, in case they needed anything.

"If we ran out of makeup or we ran out of something, we'd just be like hey can we order that and they were good about that," she said.

Speaking about the original Love Island series, she expressed her love for narrator Iain Sterling. Zeta said she's "really happy" that the original narrator made his way across the pond to the American version.

"It just brings that vibe that we have in the UK here," she said.

About Iain, Zeta said: "he's so lovely."

In the Instagram Live, Zeta also talked about her thoughts on the current season of US Islanders. She remarked that out of the current cast so far, she would choose to couple up with Keenan or Australian bombshell Harrison.

Love Island started its US version in 2019 on CBS. It spent three years on the network before moving to Peacock for seasons four and five. Zeta won season four with then-partner Timmy Pandolfi. The two dated briefly after leaving the villa but ultimately decided they'd be better as friends.
