Tom Brady shows commitment to Irina Shayk as she 'longs' for NFL star

A body language expert exclusively tells The Mirror that Irina Shayk is longing for Tom Brady

Tom Brady was seen walking with model Irina Shayk in California this past weekend. In the pictures obtained by Page Six, Tom appears to be caressing Irina's face. Now, a body language expert believes that Tom's move is anything but "platonic".

Judi James told The Mirror: "Eye-gazing; knowing smiles and facial caressing aren’t normally performed by friends, even best friends, and these signals are all on display here as the couple sit in Tom’s car."

She's broken down just how serious this relationship could be, especially since Tom has only been divorced from Gisele Bündchen for less than a year.

Judi said: "It's Irina who's throwing off the more intense signals here."

Tom hasn't been linked to any serious relationships since his divorce. In fact, just a couple weeks ago the rumours were that he was dating Kim Kardashian. It seems that Judi thinks Irina may think that their day together meant more than it really did. However, not all hope is lost. Judi doesn't think that Tom is fully disinterested."

She said: "Tom does reciprocate facially and the face-touch gesture would be unusual between platonic friends unless he was wiping something messy from her face, and it’s unlikely she got Cocoa Pops stuck up there around her brow area."

Another sign that Irina is totally into Tom is the way that she lays super low in her seat. Judi said that this isn't normal for something causal or platonic. While she could have been trying to dodge the paparazzi, Irina easily could have ducked under a blanket instead. She points toward Irina's "softened smile" as another indication of affection.

Judi said: "Despite the intimacy of facial touch, and if someone you’re just mates with does helpfully try to wipe a smear or smudge from your face the first instinct is usually to pull away and try to do it yourself, Tom’s gesture doesn’t look quite as committed as her look of apparent longing here."

Tom and Irina's playful relationship may just be the beginning. Even though Tom may not be ready to "fully commit," he is still engaging in loving gestures. Judi also believes that "he's happy" even if there is some hesitancy there.

She said: "Loving touch usually involves the fingertips but Tom’s hand is turned backward, so he looks as though he’s just rubbing with his thumb, which is pretty casual as face touches go.There’s a lot of exchanged smiles going on between them."
