Meghan Markle to work with huge American brand after Dior snub, say fashion fans

Meghan Markle has sparked rumours that she will soon be teaming up with a major fashion brand, after missing out on an exclusive partnership with Dior.

The Duchess of Sussex was thought to be following in the footsteps of Robert Pattinson and Emma Raducanu to become the new face of Dior, with some speculation saying she was set to sign a $20million (£15.5million) three-year contract.

However, a spokesman for the luxury fashion company denied the rumours. That hasn't stopped fans from speculating that Meghan could soon be teaming up with a different brand.

Designer Michael Kors took to Instagram on Monday to share a video of the Duchess of Sussex dressed in a glamorous peach dress.

Captioning the post, the brand wrote: "Happy birthday to all the Leos out there! -xxMK."

While the post also featured stars such as Cara Delevingne and Kylie Jenner, that didn't stop fans from focusing on Meghan and a possible deal with Michael Kors.

"Megan Markle and Michael Kors are a match made in heaven," one fan gushed.

Another said Meghan would be perfect for the brand because she is "ultra gorgeous, graceful, classy, philanthropic, and talented. Love her." A third fan agreed: "Meghan markle is iconic."

Meghan has often been seen wearing the designer's creations, opting for Michael Kors handbags and wristwatches.

The speculation about Meghan teaming up with Michael Kors comes amid reports she is planning on becoming a "Hollywood power player" and is hard at work in Los Angeles.

The actress has allegedly set up shop in a hotel suite close to her new talent agency William Morris Endeavour.

Meghan signed with the agency earlier this year. They've previously represented big name stars including Dwayne Johnson, Adele, and tennis player Serena Williams.

During an appearance on GB News, showbiz correspondent Kinsey Schofield claimed Meghan "has her eyes set on bigger opportunities."

She added: "She wants to be a power player in Hollywood."
