Samsung's brand new Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 are now on the market after the brand's global Unpacked event in South Korea. As many shoppers race to get the best new deal the brand's now 'older' models have seen a huge price cut, but it may not stick around for long.

The Galaxy Z Fold4 was cut in price days before the Unpacked unveiling, almost as a hint as to what shoppers could expect to see in the launch. Now a week after the two 2022 models can still be bought for £100 cheaper, and it's still a top contender when it comes to modern foldable smartphones.

The brand's newest price drop on the Z Fold 4 means it can be bought for £1,649 and includes a free gift added to the online checkout, thanks to the brand's 'hidden' free accessory deal for anyone who buys a Fold 4, although it's not obvious until you go to pay.

After adding the handset to the online basket shoppers can choose from one free gift, either a front protection film, silicone grip cover, leather cover or a standing cover with a pen slot. A welcomed freebie added to the £100 off deal.

If you're looking for a saving on your next foldable phone, this could be a good time to add a Galaxy Z Fold 4 to your basket. If Samsung announces a new model at Galaxy Unpacked, we'd expect to see prices continue to drop, although stock is likely to go quickly, so you'll need to act fast.

The Galaxy Z brand – what Samsung uses for its phones with folding glass displays – is widely considered to be one of the best on the market. Other brands including Oppo, Realme, and most recently, Google, have all launched rival foldable handsets since the arrival of the original Samsung Galaxy Fold.

So much so that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is rivalled by Google's Pixel Fold, another huge contender in the flip and foldable handset market but seemingly a couple of months behind Samsung's original releases. And not to mention the fact it costs £1,749 as opposed to Samsung's.

It's thought to be one of the last times shoppers can get their hands on the handset for a discounted price as it is unsure how much longer Samsung will be selling its Z Fold 4 with the £100 discount.

The other Z4 smartphone, the Z Flip4, has already been listed as 'not for sale' by Samsung as its stock drops massively since the launch of the Z Flip 5. In fact, there are only a small number of UK network providers that have the phone in stock. We've rounded up where to buy it below as, after all, it is slightly more 'affordable' than the Z Fold 4 (even with its £100 discount).

Where to buy the Z Flip4 as Samsung cut phone from site

'The Z Flip 4 is just over a year old, making it the second-best flippable device from the brand since it's been overtaken by the Z Flip5. Nevertheless, it's packed with high-spec features you'd want in a modern smartphone.

It flips down into a pocket-sized smartphone, has superfast charging, an IPX8 waterproof rating, and a distinct 'Flex Mode' touchpad (the smaller square screen that can be used when the device is folded).'

Samsung is no longer selling its Galaxy Z Flip4 on its site, just days after it launched a similar £100 saving on the model. This is why stock on the available Z Fold 4 is expected to run out pretty quickly, so intrigued shoppers have to be quick.

That doesn't mean it's completely off the market as a host of UK retailers still have the device in stock including O2 as it's offering a free Disney+ subscription to anyone who takes out a data plan on the handset. Samsung used to sell the Z Flip 4 handset for £999 outright and O2 is offering the phone with Unlimited data from £60 a month.

Sky Mobile has also run out of the Z Flip 4 stock, as devices flew off the shelves with its £34 a month offer, and Vodafone's previous monthly deal is also no longer in stock.

Amazon, however, does still have the 256GB version of the Z Flip 4 still available to buy, at £1,059. Retailer John Lewis also has stock of the model, in Graphite, Pink Gold and Blue versions, but its price is more expensive at £999 for the standard 128GB model.
