Love Island's Kady McDermott has teased a showdown with co-star Molly Marsh is likely to happen, as she spoke out about their apparent villa feud.

The Islander said the upcoming reunion will be "fun", as she confessed her shock over Molly's reaction to her leaving the villa, adding: "I thought we were fine".

Kady revealed all to Aftersun host Maya Jama on the show on Sunday night, days on from her brutal dumping from the villa. In the wake of her exit, her former love rival Molly took aim at her amid her kiss with her partner Zach.

In response, Kady took to Twitter to hit back at Molly's jibe. Now, the star has spoken out about their drama as she took aim at Zach in front of his family.

Speaking on the spin-off show, Kady confessed she "didn't want to beef a 21 year old", but she was not happy with what Molly said and did.

Scenes on Wednesday night saw Molly reacting to Kady's exit after weeks of on and off drama involving her partner Zach. Viewers claimed that Molly and co-star Abi were smiling as they realised Kady had been sent home.

Molly had pretty much thanked Whitney for sending Kady home, saying it had "done her a favour", making it clear she was happy she no longer had to see her around the villa.

Speaking about the moment as she ruled out chemistry between her and Zach, Kady said: "Guys it was just a challenge and I'd already snogged him. Zach is great but look at Ouzy, just look at him."

Kady then appeared to take a swipe at Zach, saying he "didn't talk" much, and suggesting her new flame was better looking than Molly's man. It's then that she teased drama at the reunion, still not sure why Molly made the jibe at her.

She said: "I got on so well with Molly, she did my hair, she wore my bikinis, there was no drama. At the end of the day she is six or seven years younger than me. I can't beef a 21 year old.

"But then when she's smirking and saying I'm so glad she left, I can't wait to see the back of her... she wouldn't dare say that if I was in there so I was like ok you're wearing my bikini while cussing me, fair play."

As Maya joked: "So the reunion is gonna be fun isn't it," Kady added: "So fun, so fun. It was such a shock because genuinely, we got on really well. I wanted to be friends with her and we did get on well... I thought we were fine but..."

Last week, Kady took to Twitter after the comments aired and reacted to Molly's "smirks". Fans called for Kady to reenter yet again just to see drama between the two Islanders.

A viewer had said on Twitter: "Oii @LoveIsland after seeing mollys smirks and that, run @kadymcdermottx back ONE MORE TIME!!"

Kady retweeted this comment, before writing: "Whilst she was wearing my bikini, make it make sense." Viewers had also tweeted about Molly appearing to smile when she learned Kady was in one of the bottom three couples on Tuesday.
