Paloma Faith takes on Adele in heartbreak stakes with new album after love split
Paloma Faith is planning an epic music comeback - and fans should brace themselves for a string of heartbreak anthems of Adele proportions.
The 42-year-old BRIT Award winning star has been missing from the charts since 2020 when she released her last album - Infinite Things.
While last year, her personal life was rocked when she split from long-term partner Leyman Lahcine - who she dated for nine years and shares two daughters with.
While Paloma may have been left heartbroken by her downturn in romantic fortunes, the pain is said to have provided some cracking inspiration for a lead single for her upcoming sixth studio album.

“It is incredibly emotional and raw and it is clear that she has taken note from Adele.”
The source makes reference to Grammy Award winner Adele who has amassed a £170 million fortune by singing about her love life disasters.
While Paloma’s new music is expected to debut next month ahead of a full album that is tipped to be filled with heartbreak ballads.

The singer told her fans via Instagram: “I haven’t been posting much here because I’ve been having a few crises in my personal life.
“But I’m in the middle of what can only be described as a cluster f**k. It’s music and writing and working keeping me going.”
While Paloma might be pouring her heartache into new music, she has always kept the finer details of her love life out of the spotlight.
The star and Leyman began dating in 2013 and there have been rumours that they secretly tied-the-knot in 2017.
They welcomed their first daughter in December 2016 and welcomed as second in February 2021.
However, the pair had split by Halloween 2022 - with news that their romance had come to an end breaking the following week.

A source said at the time: “Things between Paloma and Leyman became strained over the past year and they're no longer together – although they co-parent their children together.”
Paloma had previously been married to New Zealand-born chef Rian Haynes in 2005 but departed eight months after they swapped vows and officially divorced in 2009.
Speaking of her first marriage, the star previously said: “It was just a young, frivolous thing. We were in our early twenties and we did something quickly and realised it was a mistake.”
