Son of rapper Gillie Da Kid killed aged 25 in triple shooting
YNG Cheese, the 25-year-old son of rapper and podcast host Gillie Da Kid, has been killed in a triple shooting, according to reports.
The shooting occurred in Philadelphia on Thursday night on the 5800 block of Mascher Street. Police were called to the scene at 8:24pm.
They confirmed that a 25-year-old man was shot once in the back and taken to hospital. He was pronounced dead at 8:39pm.
A 28-year-old man and a 31-year-old man were also shot and taken to hospital. Both are said to be in a stable condition.
Police said one of the victims ran to a nearby home, with 10 spent shell casings later being found at the scene. No arrests have been made and no weapons were recovered.

Tributes have been pouring in (wallo267/Instagram)Speaking to NBC10, police did not reveal the identity of the man who died. However, a source close to the family confirmed to the publication that the victim was YNG Cheese.
Rapper Wallo267, real name Wallace Peeples, also confirmed the news on Instagram.
Sharing several pictures of YNG Cheese, he wrote: "Lil Cuz usually when I talk to you, I got a lot to tell you. Tonight the pain in my heart & tears spoke to you. I love you beyond life Cheese. I got your father, Rest Well!"
He added several rows of broken heart emojis to his post.
Fans shared their condolences, with one person commenting: "May god wrap his arms around you and your family, and provide love & support that carry’s you through this challenging journey."

YNG Cheese was the son of Philadelphia rapper Gillie Da Kid, born Nasir Fard. Gillie Da Kid is a popular figure in the city's underground hip hop scene and was also a member of the group Major Figgas.
He currently hosts the podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game with Wallo267. Gillie Da Kid is yet to speak out following his son's death.
YNG Cheese had followed in his father's musical footsteps and often shared snippets of his career on Instagram. He also posted lots of pictures of his young son.
