Love Island USA's Bergie sees what the 'throuple' text had in store for him
Love Island USA returned tonight for the second episode and finally answered what Bergie's fate would be.
After Bergie and Anna were voted the least compatible couple, they were forced to make the agonising choice of who would stay and who would leave the villa. In an act of chivalry, Bergie shocked viewers by sacrificing himself to let Anna stay.
Dramatically, Bergie received a text before leaving the villa saying everyone deserved a second chance, meaning he still kept his place on the show.
Tonight's episode opened with Bergie entering the Hideaway to see two new bombshells Hannah and Carmen in the hot tub waiting for him.
As they were introduced, they said they knew what they wanted while in the villa. "I'm looking for someone obsessed with me," Carmen stated.

Hannah and Carmen were waiting for Bergie in the hot tub"I know what I'm looking for and I won't settle for anything less," Hannah added.
The "throuple" was sharing a bed in the Hideaway for the night, and Bergie admitted that he never slept in the same bed as a woman. The two girls were supportive as they climbed into bed next to him.
The next morning, Leonardo got a text that the villa was about to be shaken up.
Carmen caught Bergie's eyeHannah and Carmen emerged from the Hideaway, shocking the Islanders. The men were visibly excited about the bombshells but the girls were not ready for competition that early in the morning.
"We brought our throuple," Hannah explained to the Islanders, motioning to the Hideaway as Bergie walked out. The Islanders cheered, glad they didn't lose him yet.
Anna pulled Bergie to the side, thanking him for taking the fall last night and leaving. But she seemed excited that he was back even if they didn't have chemistry the night before.
Bergie was surprised as he received a text after he was eliminated (Peacock)Bergie admitted he was into Carmen, and Anna seemed very happy for him and supportive. She gave him pointers about being more confident, adding: "who cares if it's awkward or embarrassing?"
Anna did notice that his night with the girls had a positive effect on him already, saying it was "like I'm talking to a different person."
Shortly after their arrival, Carmen got a text saying that her and Hannah should "each choose a boy you want to know better" for a date. Carmen chose Leonardo and Hannah picked Victor.
The two dates occurred in a romantic field surrounded by tropical flowers as the Islanders drank wine and picnicked.
