US Marine who exposed UFO encounter claims he is being threatened
A former US Marine, who once stunned the world with his extraordinary tale of stumbling across a clandestine military rendezvous with an otherworldly spacecraft, says he is now living in fear.
Michael Herrera, from Denver, believes sinister forces are determined to silence him and cover up the Pentagon's UFO secrets.
He was a 20-year-old rifleman sent on a Navy humanitarian mission during the 2009 Sumatra earthquake and tsunami that devastated the region.
Around October 8 he and five marines were dropped off at a clearing in the north eastern part of Padang City and hiked 900ft up a ridge to take their positions for the incoming supply drop, Michael said.
It was then he spotted a strange object in the jungle on the other side of the hill.
Stargazers spot baffling aerial phenomenon that looks like oil on water"I could see something moving and rotating. It was changing colors between a very light matte gray to a very dark matte black,' he said. 'It stuck out like a sore thumb." he told the DailyMail last month.
He claims he saw the UFO being loaded with weapons by unmarked US forces. He added that his unit had not been given radios to report what they were witnessing so instead they slowly approached the craft for a better look.
After an ambush by a mysterious paramilitary unit, his camera was seized, by some mysterious "men in black", he claims.
He says he was sternly warned to keep quiet about the peculiar "flying saucer" craft he and his unit witnessed in the depths of the Sumatran jungle.
For years, Michael claims he held his silence, but last month, he finally mustered the courage to share his astounding story at a briefing organized by Dr. Steven Greer's Disclosure Project.
It was during this time that he started experiencing disturbing incidents that seemed aimed at silencing him.
Michael said: "I've had numerous encounters with f***ing helicopters hovering over my house… they were hovering over my dad's house too.
“They get so low, where they rattle the walls [and] scare the sh*t out of the animals that we've got.
“[My dad’s] dogs were going f***ing crazy at that point and he was concerned because he was home and he was like I've never heard anything like that."
Not one to back down, Michael has recorded video evidence of these ominous flights and knows that other UFO whistleblowers and even government officials have faced similar intimidation tactics.
Second Chinese spy balloon spotted soaring over Latin AmericaHe revealed, "There's just a kind of hysterical factor to this, how much money they're f***ing spending on this to happen to try to either intimidate me or anybody else for that matter."
Living in close proximity to Denver airport, Michael is hopeful that government contacts can assist him in tracing the source of these menacing flights, as they would be passing through the airport's restricted airspace.
Despite the mounting pressure and fear for his safety, Michael adamantly stated: "I don't feel like harming myself … everybody makes the joke [Jeffrey] Epstein didn't kill himself … So the same goes here. I don't have any reason to harm myself, so if anything happens – it's not from me."
