Renee Zellweger, 54, 'engaged and planning wedding' to mystery British boyfriend

Renee Zellweger looks set to marry for the second time as reports claim the Bridget Jones star is engaged to Brit boyfriend Ant Anstead.

It's said the 54-year-old Hollywood star is planning a low-key wedding to her 44-year-old partner as she finally tries to rid her "unlucky in love" stereotype.

Renee had previously been married to music star Kenny Chesney in 2005, but they quickly went their separate ways after calling it quits after just four months.

But it appears she is hopeful it will be a case of happy ever after at the second time of asking, according to reports.

A pal close to the star told The Sun: "Renee and Ant are keeping their plans incredibly private, they’re not planning a big public announcement.

"She has been telling her inner circle about organising their nuptials, everything will be very low-key. Her relationship with Ant is super strong and they’re madly in love, and they can’t wait to get hitched."

Following Renee's quick-fire divorce, she went on to date another musician in Doyle Bramhall II. Their seven year relationship spanned from 2012 until 2019 before they parted ways.

Other notable romances included Bradley Cooper and Jim Carrey, whom she starred alongside in Me, Myself & Irene.

The potential wedding bells won't be Ant's first either, with the TV presenter previously saying I Do on two other occasions. The dad-of-three first began dating Renee in September 2021. There were spotted spending time together initially after meeting while working on his Discovery+ show Celebrity IOU Joyride earlier in the year.

And Renee and her man were spotted over the weekend at Goodwood Festival. She looked stunning as she posed in a beautiful gold gown next to Ant and his son Archie, 16, and daughter Amelie, 19. They all put on a smart display for a formal event at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed.

For the Love of Cars presenter Ant added shared the image on his social media pages and captioned the upload: "@fosgoodwood How it started, How it ended x @landrover @radfordmotors." The proud dad also shared another pic of his kids, where he gushed: "These two Absolute utter LEGENDS! x."
