Taylor Swift general sale sees London and Liverpool sell out
Taylor Swift fans were hoping to secure tickets to see their idol today as the second frantic round of registered fan sales commenced at 11am.
Following a week of frenzied ticket buying by Swifties who had pre-ordered the Midnights album last year, today saw tickets go on sale for selected dates at London Wembley and Liverpool Anfield in the summer of 2024.
Tickets can only be purchased via Ticketmaster and AXS, and fans who did not receive a unique code sent to their registered email address before Friday, July 14 were not able to participate in the general sale.

Fans who have missed out will be put on a waiting list and their chosen ticket provider will be in touch via email to inform them if they have landed a successful place in the next date allocation.

Today, Tuesday, July 18, tickets went on sale for the following shows
- June, 22 - Wembley Stadium
- June, 13 - Liverpool Anfield
- August, 16 - Wembley Stadium
- June, 14 - Liverpool Anfield
- June, 15 - Liverpool Anfield
The first batch of tickets went live at 11am for the June 22 show at Wembley Arena and the June, 13 show at Liverpool's Anfield. At 1pm tickets went on sale for the August 16 show at Wembley and the June 14 show at Anfield. Then, at 3pm fans were able to purchase tickets for the June 15 date at Anfield.
Wembley Arena has the capacity to accommodate 90,000 fans, and Anfield can hold up to 54,000 fans While exact ticket numbers have not been confirmed, fans can see the seating plans for both venues, along with her other UK venues here.

With one more day of sale happening tomorrow, fans must remember that tickets can only be purchased via Ticketmaster and AXS and the general sale is only open to fans who have received a code.
Fans who received an email saying they are on the waitlist may receive a further email if any tickets are left when the general sales are finished.

With extremely high demand comes increased opportunities for scalpers and scammers, and fans have been calling them out on social media.

One fan took to Twitter yesterday to show a third-party seller asking for £2,950 (£1,475 each) for two first-tier seated tickets (section 105) at Wembley Stadium, tickets which were originally priced between £125 to £195 per ticket during the pre-sale.
Not only were the tickets ridiculously overpriced, but they also appear to show an AI-generated seating plan, showing ticket availability for seating that isn't available on Ticketmaster - a real red flag for fans desperate for tickets.
