Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin marry one month after engagement announcement
It has been a long time coming, but Dylan Sprouse and
have finally tied the knot. The two were married in Hungary, Barbara's home country.
Pictures dropped of Barbara in her stunning wedding dress on the Hungarian publication Bors Online. The wedding comes only one month after the couple confirmed their engagement. While fans had been speculating for awhile, Dylan and Barbara confirmed it in V Magazine. So, while it may seem like a quick turn around, its nothing that real fans didn't see coming.
The engagement rumours all started in March when a source told PEOPLE that the pair "were showing everyone her ring". They proceeded to describe the engagement as "very obvious".
At the time, the pair had not confirmed anything at all, but we didn't have to wait long for them to speak up. By June, they let the whole world know.
Dylan told V Magazine: "We didn't necessarily feel the need to be fully transparent with the public about that aspect of our engagement. We just [wanted] to do it on our time."
Dylan and Barbara have had a steady relationship since 2018. It all started with a simple DM.
In a very millennial style, Dylan DMed Barbara after meeting her at a party. He slid in successfully considering that Barbara flew all the way to China so they could have their first date.
Dylan told W Magazine: "She followed me, so I was like, I guess I'll give her something. And I slid into her DMs. I was like, 'Hey, I don't know if you're in New York for very long, but we should hang out if you want to. Here's my number.' And she didn't message me for six months."
In June 2018, they officially started dating, making it Instagram official by August of the same year.
From there, the relationship seemed to progressive very naturally and in a very normal timeline... except for one small peculiarity. It took Barbara until February 2019 to meet Dylan's brother, Cole Sprouse.
For a long time, Dylan and Cole, as twins, were inseparable since their professional careers are forever intertwined. They played the twins in Disney's Suite Life of Zack and Cody and also attended New York University together.
So, for it to take that long for Cole and Barbara to finally meet is definitely odd. However, it wasn't because of anything malicious or scandalous considering they frequently interacted on good terms online.
