Guests enchanted to discover their cosy B&B has secret path to magical waterfall
A small holiday cottage in a rural location has an amazing secret in its garden.
The name of a B&B cottage on the edge of the small rural town of Earby gives more than a hint about the special surprise that lies at the bottom of its garden.
Waterfall Cottage looks like any other classic stone home perfect for a cosy countryside stay on the rural Lancashire-Yorkshire border, Lancashire Live reported.
Once you head into its garden you'll find a narrow walking trail that leads you towards the sound of falling water and then to a little footbridge.
Keep walking and you will find a cluster of shallow rock pools being fed by a waterfall just metres from the rental property.

If you aren't staying in the cottage, while you won't be able to use the track from Waterfall Cottage's garden, there is a small one-track road down the side of the property that is accessible to the wider public.
Be mindful that the rocks are slippery and uneven. While the water is shallow in most parts and ideal for bathing in warm weather, caution is advised, as is wearing suitable footwear.
The cosy self-catering cottage is popular with couples enjoying a walking holiday and small families. It can accommodate up to five guests across two bedrooms with a shared garden terrace and a wood burning fire for when the temperatures drop.

Also known as the Ess-Na-Crub , the County Antrim falls came fifth in a study of more than 50 of the most beautiful lakes, rivers and waterfalls across the world.
Glenarriff Waterfall are hidden in the Glens of Antrim and are known locally as the 'tears of the mountain.'

The tranquil Glenariff Forest Park has a waterfall walkway which opened 80 years ago and has been significantly upgraded along its three-mile length which passes through a National Nature Reserve.
Three waterfalls can be found by following the marked trails.

"Over the rapids the water is whisked into foam like the head of a beer and then the bubbles settle out again across the pools and all around the ferns and mosses soften the shining silver of the rocks," Antrim Coast and Glens writes of the waterfall.
"Light is transformed on the falls. Where sunlight catches the spray, fleeting little rainbows appear and disappear as the light flickers through the swaying leaves above."
