Emmerdale star Rosie Bentham was feeling confident and summer ready as she donned a stylish green dress to attend a party.

The 21-year-old soap star - who is famous for playing Gabby Thomas in the long-running ITV tea-time drama - was joined by her co-stars for a lavish night out.

Rosie - who has been a cast member of Emmerdale since 2016 - was joined by Daisy Campbell, Isabel Hodgins and Katie Hill as they headed to an ITV party.

The group of four were guests at the network’s summer party that saw a host of celebrities dance and drink the night away outside - regardless of some damp summer weather.

Standing in front of a giant mirror, the soap actress took a snap of herself which she shared via Instagram along with the simple caption: “Sumer party”.

She then sheared a second snap which included her co-stars - with Katie wearing a light grey dress, Isabel wearing a floral print top and cream trousers, and Daisy donning a summer dress and light coloured jacket.

Fans were quick to complement the group with many leaving positive messages in the comments section of the snaps.

One fan wrote: “Gorgeous! Hope you guys had an amazing night.”

And another typed: “Emmerdale gals love it.”

Rosie recently opened up about playing her character on the ITV soap and how starring int he show helped her process the tragic death of her father.

The actress was 15 in 2017 when her screen dad, dementia suffering vicar Ashley, died. And then two years later, her real life father John, also a vicar, died of a pulmonary embolism – a blood clot.

She explained last year: “I was doing the whole playing grief and then the next minute I’m actually grieving. Everyone was there for me and I had some time off. I had a text from the cast seeing how I was.

“Work was a saving grace in the sense there was something I still loved to do and was passionate about. Grieving can go wrong for teenagers.

“People can rebel but that was never me. You think life is so unfair I don’t know why I am here any more. I knew I had work – something I loved and was passionate about and I got to work every day. Emmerdale 100% gave me stability.”
