Kate Middleton and Prince William are busy parents with three lively young children to take care of.

Like any parent, they need a helping hand from their trusted family members and unflappable Norland nanny Maria Borrallo.

George, Charlotte and Louis reportedly love spending time with grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton, who provide them with the sense of an 'ordinary' childhood away from royal pressures.

In the month after George was born, Kate and William resided with the hands-on grandparents at Buckleberry Manor in Berkshire.

The £4.7million, seven-bedroom, Grade II listed home was a safe haven for new parents Kate and Wills, with Michael Middleton also stepping in to keep the world at bay.

He snapped a photograph of baby George at just one month old, to provide a sense of privacy for Kate and William but to also satisfy the public who desperately wanted an update on the newborn.

And mum Carole is just as involved. In 2014, Kate and Wills embarked on their royal tour to Australia and New Zealand with baby George.

The public may not have noticed but Granny Carole actually attended alongside them, the Mail on Sunday's You Magazine reports.

She helped look after eight month-old George alongside Maria.

After the Wales' moved to Adelaide Cottage from London last year, the family are now just a 45-minute drive away from Michael and Carole, who are on hand to help raise the trio of siblings.

While George is also close to his royal grandparents, their new roles as king and queen mean hefty demands on their time, whereas Michael and Carole have the freedom to be full-time grandparents, particularly since their Party Pieces business went into administration earlier this year.
