Sofia Vergara reveals she had MAJOR reservations before marrying Joe Manganiello
Sofia Vergara has spoken about the early days of her romance with now-husband Joe Manganiello, admitting that she thought a relationship with him would be "too much work" due to his good looks.
In an interview from 2015 that has recently resurfaced on the internet from Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the 51 year old spoke of her hesitancy in pursuing a romance with the Magic Mike hunk as women were constantly "throwing themselves at him".
"I told him when I met him that he was too handsome," she said. "I didn't want to go into a relationship with somebody that … I thought he was going to be too much work because girls were throwing themselves at him."
The Modern Family star added that she just wanted "somebody normal".
Shockingly, Sofia added that women were trying to flirt and shoot the shot with Joe, who was given the coveted title of People's Sexiest Man Alive that same year, right in front of her.

Luckily, Joe only had eyes for Sofia, and they went on to tie the knot that same year in a lavish ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida, after less than one year of dating.
They then enjoyed their honeymoon at a luxury private resort on the tropical Turks and Caicos Islands.
Years later, it's clear that Joe is still infatuated with her because, as well as her infectious personality, she is also one of Hollywood's most prominent beauty icons.
Her personal trainer Jennifer Yates previously revealed that her sensational figure was mostly down to Pilates, as well as a series of gruelling, low-impact moves.
"We do a lot of squats and deadlifts, and we do a lot of things off the machine as well," Yates told Women's Health.
"Recently, we've been combining some of the heavier weights for the lower body because she's trying to put a little more mass on, so we've been doing a lot of work with kettlebells."
She added that Sofia was so dedicated to her health and fitness that she even ensured to take her "weights and resistance bands with her" while on holiday.
Needless to say, Sofia has long been a beauty icon in Hollywood.
In a previous interview with Home Business Magazine, she said: "Well, it's great that at this age I'm still considered a beauty icon because, you know, after you start feeling time goes by, things change.
