Derek Chisora has picked Tommy Fury over Jake Paul in Sunday night's grudge fight in Saudi Arabia, backing his fellow Brit to land a massive knockout.

Chisora has been heavily involved in promoting the bout, which airs on BT Sport Box Office in the UK, flying out to Riyadh to help host their launch press conference which Fury himself missed. He even faced off with Paul in place of his fellow Englishman at the end of the event, gaining a viral moment of his own in the process.

But Chisora has backed Fury over the American despite their good natured banter at the media event, declaring that Paul may have overlooked his rival after being branded the bookies' favourite. The pair have been due to fight twice prior with Fury pulling out of both, and it is believed that Paul may have the more impressive CV despite never having beaten a true boxer.

"Jake right now looks to be the favourite," Chisora told Mirror Fighting . "So all the odds are favouring Jake and everything, all the fans are saying 'Jake, Jake, Jake'. But I've got a feeling that Jake might get stopped by Tommy but if that happens then 'oh wow'.

"But if it goes the other way around, then Jesus Christ it's not great. Everybody's saying 'Jake, Jake, Jake' and I think what's happening right now is that Jake's confidence is so high up that he's brushing off Tommy easy."

Chisora is a known fan of YouTube boxing, spending a lot of time training with KSI and sitting ringside for Deji's bout with Alex Wassabi last March. And asked why he feels that he is embracing the new scene, he simply responded that it was "entertainment".

"There's so much stuff going on right now with people needing entertainment," Chisora continued. "Whether it's football or singing, it's called 'entertainment' for those who can't do it and the attraction is that there's so many kids around that want to be a part of this event.

"There's been so much back-and-forth trash talking and it's happening now. I like Tommy Fury, I like Jake, I like everybody because they're just young guys who are trying to make a living.

"I've not embraced [YouTube boxing], but you have to understand that times are changing, the world is changing right now and you have to evolve with it. Back in the day there was all like cowboys running around on horses, then cars came in, so things are changing and we just have to evolve with it.

"It's hard because the original boxing fans don't pay so much attention to boxing any more so [there's a] younger crowd. Me growing up, I was into Rocky, a big Rocky fan. But people don't watch Rocky any more, they watch Creed and times are moving on now so we just have to get on with it."

BT Sport Box Office will show Tommy Fury v Jake Paul exclusively live on Sunday, February 26 from 6:30pm. Learn more at btsport.com/boxing
