"Love Island All Stars is in development at ITV and it is a concept they have been talking about. This summer's series marks the tenth series of the show and ITV thinks there's an appetite for the concept," a source claimed in February.

Speaking to The Sun, they added: "The plan would be to invite some of the sexiest and most successful former Islanders to see if they can find love for a second time around."

The insider also claimed Maura "would be top of ITV's wish list" when it came to female stars they would like to see sign up for the spin-off show.

Last month, Mike Spencer, an executive producer at ITV, said: "I think I said I’d like to do one last year and then everyone started talking about it! I can’t say anything yet but I’d love to do an all stars!"
