Zara Tindall enjoyed a cheeky kiss with husband Mike as they enjoyed a day out at Wimbledon - but the pair missed out on landing one of the best seats in the house.

The King's niece enjoyed a day out at the tennis championships with former rugby player and ex-I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here star Mike - and the pair indulged in some PDA. At one point, Zara could be seen grabbing Mike by the cheek in order to plant a kiss on his face - they also looked loved up as they posed for photographers as they arrived at SW19.

However, as firm favourites among royal fans and having royal relatives, you would assume the pair would be afforded a place in Centre Court's prestigious royal box. In fact, the privilege was extended to her older brother Peter Phillips, the oldest son of Princess Anne, who sat and watched the Centre Court action alongside his girlfriend, Lindsay Wallace.

However, it seems there wasn't actually a place for Zara and Mike, in the box and they actually sat elsewhere for their day at the tennis and for their PDA - and it seems it is all down to one of Zara's jobs. As well as being a champion equestrian, the mum-of-three is also a brand ambassador for several luxury firms, including upmarket watchmaker Rolex, which is one of the main sponsors of the tournament.

So at Wimbledon yesterday, she actually sat in seats reserved for those invited by Rolex rather than with her older brother, his girlfriend and her aunt Camilla. It's likely Peter was invited into the box at the invitation of the All England Club's chairman Ian Hewitt.

Entry to the box is by invite only and only the biggest stars get one of the 74 luxury seats - invitations are extended to heads of government, people from the world of tennis, commercial partners, British armed forces, prominent media organisations, and supporters of British tennis, among others.

On arrival at Wimbledon on Wednesday, Zara and Mike happily posed for photographers as they arrived to watch the action on day 10 of the championships. The couple could be seen sharing a joke and smiling at each other as they entered the grounds.

It has been a busy summer for the couple, who have enjoyed some premier sporting events in recent months. After their high-profile appearance at the Coronation, they attended the Monaco Grand Prix at the end of May, where they soaked up the sun.

But on the way back to the UK, they ended up stunning holidaymakers when they were spotted taking an Air France flight back to London from Nice and sat in economy class, lifting their own bags into the overhead lockers.

At the beginning of June, they led racegoers by attending the Epsom Derby, where they coordinated their outfits - and also attended several days of Royal Ascot, where they even took part in the carriage procession.

But there was one royal event they swerved - Trooping the Colour as instead they were seen at the Isle of Wight Festival. There they reportedly put on a very passionate display as they were seen snogging on the dancefloor while partying late into the night.
