Noel Gallagher's ex Meg Matthews pictured with police after drink-drive arrest
Noel Gallagher's ex Meg Matthews was charged with drink-driving after allegedly crashing her Jeep into a parked car.
Meg, 57, allegedly crashed her yellow Jeep after promoting her book about menopause, The New Hot, at a homeware shop in Cornwall.
The author was charged with driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol
The event was scheduled between 5pm and 9pm.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police explained, as reported by CornwallLive: "Police were called around 9:20pm on Friday, July 7 following reports of a two-vehicle collision in Stret Ewyn, Newquay. Units attended and one person was arrested in connection to this matter.

"Following police enquiries, one person has since been charged. Meg Matthews, aged 57, of Hilgrove Mews, Newquay, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle whilst under the influence of alcohol."

Pictures show the author wearing a white button-up top and jean shorts as she stands at the back of a police van.
One police officer is seen guiding Meg to the car while other officers surround the area.
When she was approached by The Sun about the crash. she said she had "no comment".
Meg tied the knot with Oasis star Noel, 56, in 1997. The two split in 2001. They share a daughter named Anais.
Noel previously told NME that Oasis' ninth single, Wonderwall was about Meg.
"It's about my girlfriend, Meg Matthews," he told the magazine in 1996.

After their split, Noel claimed Wonderwall had nothing to do with his ex.
“The meaning of that song was taken away from me by the media who jumped on it, and how do you tell your missus it’s not about her once she’s read it is?" he told the BBC.
"It’s a song about an imaginary friend who’s gonna come and save you from yourself," he explained.
Meg - who is believed to have pocketed £4million in the split - was understandably confused about the meaning behind the song.
"All of a sudden when I was getting divorced he said it wasn't about me, so I don't really understand." Meg told the Telegraph in 2005.
