A brazen creep masturbated in front of a teenage boy on board a train - and then had the cheek to try to blame his twin brother with "bigger ears".

Dean Kaboleh approached the 17-year-old victim and tried to engage him in conversation. A court heard Kaboleh, 20, then stood in front of him, pulled his trousers down and starting to masturbate in eye line with the boy on the service, which had just left Birmingham New Street.

After an appeal, the lowlife was identified and arrested at his address in the Handsworth area of the city.

And he was jailed for a total of six and a half months last week, British Transport Police said.

Kaboleh eventually pleaded guilty to indecent exposure, but Birmingham Magistrates' Court heard he initially tried to claim he was the victim of mistaken identity and his twin brother - albeit with "bigger ears" - was to blame.

But British Transport Police saw through the deceit and secured a prosecution, following the lewd behaviour on May 1 at around 10pm on a cross-city service.

PC Hale, investigating officer said: “Kaboleh is a disgusting individual who preyed on the teenage boy for his own sexual gratification. He even claimed in interview that it was his twin brother who has bigger ears.

“I hope his prison sentence acts as a warning to sexual offenders – we will do everything in our power to put you behind bars.

“If you experience or witness behaviour on the rail network, I urge you to report it to us either by downloading the Railway Guardian App, texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40."

The defendant must also pay £200 compensation. There was no order for costs.
