Today is the day Swifties.

The day I, and millions of others across the UK have been waiting for - the pre-sale ticket launch for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour.

Thousands upon thousands of fans are expected to queue online today for a chance to see Swift at her 2024 shows. Ticketmaster and AXS are expecting phenomenal demand, so much so that they have staggered slots for various shows and dates today.

Fans who bought Taylor's Midnights album between August 29, 2022 and October 27, 2022, should have received an email with their unique pre-sale access code and ticket provider (either Ticketmaster or AXS ), that can't be shared with anyone else.

Pre-sale will go live from 11am today, July 10, for the June 21 date at Wembley, London and the June 7 date at BT Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh. Then at 1pm, two more shows will go live, Wembley's August 15 date and BT Murrayfield's June 8 date.

Finally, at 3pm fans will be able to have the chance to purchase pre-sale tickets for the June 9 date at Edinburgh's BT Murrayfield Stadium. The unique pre-sale codes can be used to gain access for all of the times above, providing you are not already successful at gaining tickets.

Once the code has been used it cannot be used again, and it can only be used to purchase up to four tickets per customer. And remember the email address you got your code sent to, must be linked to an account with Ticketmaster or AXS.

We'll be providing you all the latest ticket updates in our live blog below as they happen. Bringing you news on queue updates, ticket numbers, seating plans, prices and more. Good luck - hopefully 2024 won't be a cruel summer for you.

It's not too late if you didn't get tickets today

Big well done to The Lucky Ones who managed to buy tickets in the pre-sales today, and big apologies to those who haven't!

But don't worry if you didn't get the tickets you wanted, as more pre-sale launches will be going live tomorrow.

I'll be back with you tomorrow, in a new blog. Thank you so much to all those who have followed today!

Pre-sale ticket launches and times for Tuesday, July 11 are as follows:

Fans should have received an email with their unique access code to access the sale tomorrow either via Ticketmaster or AXS

Tickets are now LIVE for Edinburgh - 2,951 in queue

Ticket queues are now LIVE for Edinburgh!

This is the final pre-sale of the day and it's for the June 9, 2024 show at the BT Murrayfrield Stadium.

There's currently only 2,951 in the queue so far, for me, so this might be a better venue/chance for those who are yet to get tickets today.

Final pre-sale of the day incoming

Waiting rooms have now opened for the final pre-sale of the day.

It's for Edinburgh's show on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

Waiting rooms are open on Ticketmaster or AXS (depending on who you have been given in your pre-sale email).

Have your unique code at the ready and remember, you can only buy a max of four tickets per code.

Do not refresh once you are in the queue.

When you are placed in the waiting room, the page will automatically refresh and place you in the queue once the on-sale time begins at 3pm.

Good luck!

I got tickets - tips to come

I managed to get tickets Swifties.

I feel like one of The Lucky One's. I've cried tears of joy and have done an excited dance with my little Dachshund, Evie.

I will be sharing my tips later but first, I'm sticking with you for the 3pm pre-sale.

Good luck all.

Second-round ticket sales selling out

As expected, the first of this afternoon's pre-sale events is extremely busy for both venues

Have you been lucky enough to get the tickets you wanted? If not, don't forget that you can try again at 3pm

Fans should be weary of some resellers

We're seeing an increase of scam warnings going out across Twitter with the #ErasTour label, a reminder to all fans to only buy through verified sites and if you didn't get a presale code wait until general sale.

Some 'fans' are even selling presale codes on Twitter. We'd urge fans not to put money towards these as there's no way knowing if the code being sold has been used to buy tickets before, it can only be used once. It's one of the many reasons the presale queue's have been staggered today.

Read here:

Here are a few things NOT to do to get Eras Tour tickets:

  • Don't get tickets through an unofficial source - say NO to social media offers
  • Don't buy a presale code off another fan
  • Are you surprised how cheap it is? - We'd recommend you double check the price as it could be a scam

26, 000 fans flock to second Wembley queue

The second queue is just as busy as the first, I mean what did we expect.

Gemma is trying her best to secure tickets as we speak and currently more than 26,000 people ahead of her.

How many people are ahead of you?

The second presale queue is now open - and we have the official VIP prices

GO! The second presale ticket queue of the day is now open, fans can join with their unique code.

As the numbers tick up, we now know how much it'll cost fans who opt for one of the VIP packages, and it's a lot!

Our ticket guru Gemma is in the queue as has clocked fans will pay as much as £662 each for Wembley Stadium VIP tickets. That price is for the 'It's Been A Long Time Coming Package' and includes VIP entrance, exclusive merch like a VIP tote bag, sticker and postcard set and four Taylor Swift prints.

The cheapest VIP package is 'We Never Go Out Og Style' at £196 each, closely followed by the 'Karma is My Boyfriend'.

Ticketmaster says fans should only user one device

Make sure you're following the latest advice from Ticketmaster.

We'd usually suggest fans to open as many browser tabs and devices as possible on ticket launch day, but tickets are being carefully released for Taylor's Eras Tour.

Here's what you need to do:

  • Only join on one device
  • Make sure you only follow presale link from email, it is unique to you and you only
  • Remember, you can only use your presale code once to buy tickets

London and Edinburgh fans get ready!

There's just 10 minutes to go until the next round of presales goes live, and as always the same waiting room queue tips apply.

Do NOT refresh if you have just joined the second waiting room queue of the day.

Waiting rooms are open ahead of the 1pm sale

Ready for round 2?

Make sure you have your code to hand as the waiting room for the 1pm pre-sale is now open.

As always, Ticketmaster is sharing its queue tips while you wait

  • London | Wembley Stadium | Thursday, 15 August 2024
  • Edinburgh | BT Murrayfield Stadium | Saturday, 8 June 2024.

Have your unique pre-sale code ready and don't refresh the page once you are in the queue.

You can only use your code ONCE when buying tickets.

Waiting rooms will open at 12.30pm.

I'm back - here's what I learned

Well after an long wait in the queue, nearly two hours, I couldn't get tickets for the Wembley date.

Queue numbers were extremely high, despite the fact that I joined at 10.30am in the waiting room.

It is just luck of the draw.

At one point more than 15,000 people were in front of me and the queue only went down to around 200 people at 11.38am, by which point standing was sold-out and the only seats available where restricted views, or ones right at the back - these are fine if you are desperate to see Swift, and I am but I'm holding out hope for the next batch at 1pm!

Good luck all, please keep tweeting me or comment below with your experiences today!

London fans disappointed

With tickets selling super fast Gemma and her fellow Swifties who've not yet secured their standing tickets at Wembley have been left disappointed this time around.

With only seated tickets left in the 11am pre-sale slot, Gemma will be getting ready to queue again at 1pm for a second attempt to get her hands on those tickets.

Remember, your access code can be used again for the 1pm and 3pm time slots provided you have not already purchased tickets.

Tickets are flying out for London

Fans waiting in the queue are already being warned that availability for standing tickets is extremely low. Eek!

Ticket prices revealed!

Ticket prices are currently on sale for Friday, June 21 at Wembley Stadium and we now have the full pricing details.

  • Ticket presale seated ticket - £58.65 - £194.75 each
  • Ticket presale general admission standing - £110.40 each
  • Tickets presale front standing left ticket - £172.25 each
  • Ticket presales front standing right ticket - £172.25 each

Ticketmaster and AXS are expecting such phenomenal demand today that they staggered slots for various shows and dates today.

Slow moving queues

The queue is moving. Slowly.

Gemma is concerned there may not be many tickets left at the end of it. They are big arenas but I'm sure a lot of fans will be keen to see some extra dates added. A reminder there are two more days of pre sale as well. We'll have Edinburgh and Dublin tomorrow (Tuesday) and Liverpool and Cardiff on Wednesday.

15,000 in the queue

Fans are reporting there are over 15,000 people in the queue at the moment.

A reminder to not refresh your screen while you are in the queue. Have your payment details ready and do not panic - tickets are always available long after on sale for these big shows.

Waiting room issues

Some fans are reporting that they are being kicked out of the waiting room. I expect that is due to incredble demand on the Ticketmaster servers. The system is prone to falling over during big sale events and this one is one of the biggest ever.

According to our ticket expert Gemma, you just need to keep going back to the waiting room page via the link in your ticket code email and it should let you back in.

No problems on other sellers yet.

Waiting room is now open

Gemma is now in the waiting room and I'll be updating the blog while she attempts to get her hands on some tickets. Fans who have managed to get in will be able to see this screen. It includes a countdown for when tickets will be available.

If you've not joined the waiting room then you can do so here.

It's time

Waiting rooms should have opened by now on Ticketmaster and AXS.

These are for London's Wembley show on Friday, June 21, 2024 and Edinburgh's BT Murrayfield Stadium on Friday, June 7, 2024.

Pre-sale begins at 11am and tickets will be operated on a first come, first serve basis.

GOOD LUCK!

Just a note to say

I'm going to try and get tickets with you all this morning, so I will also be updating you via my Twitter @GemmaSherlock2

Please send me your tweets and tell me about your experiences.

If you would like to include your experiences/thoughts in our blog today please email [email protected] and I will happily take a look.

While you wait...

If you haven't seen the incredible new video for Taylor Swift's 'I Can See You' from her Speak Now, Taylor's version album then here it is below!

It features the three Taylor's! Taylor Swift, Taylor Lautner, and his wife Tay Lautner.

Waiting rooms

Waiting rooms on Ticketmaster and AXS will open 30 minutes before the on-sale time today.

So at 10.30am, you should be on, with your code from your email!

Fans need to follow these rules TODAY

To be in with a chance of getting tickets to see the global pop superstar, fans had to follow a number of rules, and will need to keep them in mind during the pre-sale today.

If you didn't participate in the Midnights pre-order before 12pm on Thursday October 27, 2022 then you won't have qualified for special pre-sale access. It only applies to those who bought the album between August 29, 2022 and October 27, 2022.

If you did, and haven't received your email yet with your unique access code, double check your spam folder first and then if not contact [email protected] as soon as possible.

If you know someone who did pre-order the album but isn't going to the tour, for whatever reason, then you could ask them if they could give only you their code.

For UK pre-dates fans will either be assigned Ticketmaster or AXS as their chosen provider. This means that if you are given Ticketmaster you will not be able to also log into AXS during the same pre-sale time as your code won't work on there. This doesn't apply to Dublin though, as Ticketmaster is the only official ticket agent for this area.

Next, the email address you received your unique pre-sale access code to MUST be linked to your account with either Ticketmaster or AXS. Check you have an active account linked because if not, you will need to create one or risk losing out.

Codes may only be used to purchase up to four tickets per customer. This means that if you're successful using your code once for tickets, you then can't use it again to try and get tickets to another show.

How to improve your chances of getting a ticket to see Taylor Swift

Make sure your Ticketmaster or AXS account is updated with the correct details - address, payment information - this will speed up the checkout process.

Check that you know your login details - you don't want to be behind because you forgot your password.

Log in early - 15 minutes before the sale starts

Don't use multiple devices or browser tabs - during the US pre-sale, Ticketmaster only allowed one device and one open page per account. Any extras may result in errors, which you definitely don't want.

Decide in advance what seats you want and your budget - prices haven't been officially confirmed yet but are likely to be between £49 to £650 depending on VIP packages.

Do not refresh your browser - you will lose your place in the queue.

Don't give up - tickets can become available a couple of hours after the initial sale time - some may have cancelled their transaction.
