Amazon shoppers must rush to try a genius money-saving trick this week

Amazon will launch its 2023 Prime Day sale tomorrow (July 11) with the online retailer promising huge reductions across a vast range of products, services and devices. It's set to be another brilliant few days for bargain hunters but those wanting to access the mega money-saving deals will need to have access to a £8.99 per month Prime account.

It's an annoying term of the sale but there is a pretty easy way to make the savings without paying Amazon a penny for its premium subscription plan.

Right now, Amazon is offering Prime for free when users sign up for its platform with this offer lasting for 30 days. That means you can sign up today and then take full advantage of Prime Day. As long as you cancel before the one-month trial has ended no payments will ever be taken from your account. Hey presto!

Signing up takes seconds and once you are a member you'll get instant access to some big savings. Prime Day starts on July 11 and ends on July 12 with Amazon confirming hundreds of products will get discounted prices.

Some of the biggest savings will be applied to Amazon's popular range of devices with the Echo smart speaker, Kindle and Fire TV Stick range to be slashed in price by over 40%.

Smartphones, earbuds, smartwatches and TVs are also sure to be discounted along with beauty, fashion food and drink.

Of course, along with big savings, Amazon's Prime service also offers speedy next-day delivery plus access to platforms such as Prime Video, Prime Music and Prime Gaming. These streaming services include playlists, blockbuster films and top entertainment.

There's even free storage for all of your files and photos and Prime members will receive £15 Amazon.co.uk credit when they download the Amazon Photos app and upload their first photo.

“The countdown for Prime Day starts now, and we have an incredible selection of deals to come,” said John Boumphrey, UK Country Manager of Amazon. “We work really hard to deliver great products at the best prices for customers during Prime Day and throughout the year, from the biggest brands to the 100,000 small British businesses that are available on Amazon. There is a lot to be excited about and a lot of value to find, with a few fun surprises and experiences to help you feel like a big deal along the way.”

Mirror Online will bring you all the best Prime Day deals this week so watch this space for the biggest bargains.
